10 Pack Open Chamber Indicator Safety Flags (Safety Yellow)

These indicators are good for general purpose use, and they're cheap! In come cases a calibre-specific indicator is better, and smaller ones fit into carrying systems better. But these are easy to see on ranges full of busy people, and can be used with almost any firearm. I carry a bunch of them just to help out people who lose or forget theirs at matches, etc. Hard to beat for the money.

These OCIs work great. They fit in anything .22 cal or greater(have not tried them in anything smaller than .22).Highly visable. Even if your range does not require the use of an OCI it is a good idea to use them for your and everyones elses peace of mind. These are legal for CMP/NRA matches.

If you need an extra large flag on your empty chamber indicator then these are for you! I needed something for my .22 cal AR style rifles and these are too large in my opinion. The stem that inserts into the barrel is a little tight for .22 cal and the flag is larger than the chamber itself. However, they work just fine in .223/5.56 chambers and up.Actual measurements of flag are 2 3/4" x 1 9/16". Overall length is 8".Hope this helps.

These are not for pistols. They are too big to fit down the chamber of a .22 pistol and overall too big for any pistol. They would be great for a rifle but not pistols.

Bought these two years ago and still using the original ten, they'll last. Great product

Great Reminder on each and every "OCI" (Open Chamber Indicator). As the first reviewer said, these bright yellow indicators stand out in an open range match (NRA requirement) and provide a margin of safety to ensure there are no accidental discharges. We also use them when there are just 2 people shooting at the range...just a good safety habit to stay with in being a responsible gun owner!Will also use them in our 3 person hunting blind, where risk for hunting accidents are even greater. Great product at a great price!!

These safety indicator flags are as advertised. I am using them in multiple calibers and type of guns. If these don't fit into the chamber of your gun, since they are a good grade of plastic, they are easily trimmed for caliber or chamber length. The flag is large enough to be easily seen, thus enhancing the safety of the firing line.

Great product, and now an essential on many Australian Ranges. How nice to have one with a slogan reflecting our support of our troops. (All allied troops)With a little judicious shaving these can also be fitted to a .17 air pistol or air rifle.As a safety officer an externally visible indicator of an empty chamber makes my life a little easier. It also reduces anxiety levels in other shooters. We had been using ECI's in our Juniors training program for the last 7 or so years.Ross
