Where has this been all my life! Got it for child with braces who loves fresh corn. Easy to use. You quickly get a hang of the angle/pressure needed to get the depth of cut you want. Much safer and faster than a knife.

I've bought just about every corn cutter on the market and nothing worked better than a sharp knife. I've only tried it on one ear of corn but I believe I can actually learn to like it. The straight pulling action makes it easy to control.

When our corn was getting close to ready, I knew that I wanted something beside just a knife to cut it from the cob. After some research I decided to order 3 different styles to try. I tried the other 2 styles first. Both of them will work well after I sharpen them, but they weren't as sharp as they needed to be. I then picked up this one to try. It worked great right out of the box. It took a couple of ears to get used to the right angle to remove all the kernels as clean as I wanted, but once I got used to it I was very impressed. I didn't have a lot to do this year but for next year I will probably order another one so we can have two of us cutting. I would recommend this cutter.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Purchased one for a friend, she liked it so much I ordered another for myself. Really slick for removing corn from the cob prior to freezing. Great invention here!

But it was my fault for not paying close attention to the video. ANYONE who has ever had even a modicum of lessons in cutting knows that you should always cut AWAY from you, NOT TOWARDS you. This tool only works if you cut towards you, and it makes it very awkward, (especially when the corn is hot!) You are pulling hot kernels up towards your hand, instead of pushing them down towards your plate. The blade is effective and all, but silly and wrong design.

I have arthritis in my hands and it is becoming difficult to do formerly simple tasks like stripping kernels from a corn cob. This makes it so much easier and it is fast. Super handy kitchen tool!

I was surprised how this corn stripper is very efficient at removing corn off the cob.
