Makes liquids sweet
Very fine powser, dissolves well, no gritty residue. Only complaint i have is it makes your liquid sweet. This was really gross in V8. I started putting it in milk, put a small amount of chocolate syrup in it to fool my mouth into accepting sweet milk, as I do not like sweet milk. Works fine.

Dissolves Completely; No Flavor
This Nature's Target protein powder is amazing. It dissolves super easy and completely. Mixes easily. Has no flavor - I absolutely hate protein powders that have that weird artificial taste. No artificial anything in this. No sweeteners. No aroma. Keeps you full for longer - so good appetite suppressor. Great value for the money, especially when you can get it on sale. No bad side effects. My hair and nails are growing like crazy. My skin feels baby soft. I love this product. Recommend!

Perfect product for an older hiker
This is a perfect product for me. At age 70 and very active, I need to be concerned with getting enough protein. But I'm lactose intolerant and concentrated whey protein won't do, as it still has some lactose in it, so I need the isolate. I also limit my sugar intake, so I didn't want anything sweetened (as most store brands are), and I want to use it for general cooking, not just protein shakes, so I needed an unflavored product. This isolate powder comes mixed with "resistant maltodextrin," a beneficial, flavorless, water-soluble fiber, which seems to make it easier to mix into a variety of liquids and suspensions. I have used it successfully in, for example, cream of wheat, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, marinara sauce and sour cream dip (after using bulk lactase powder to eliminate the lactose from the sour cream). It does not affect the flavors at all. It seems I will be able to use it in most soft foods or sauces (and probably in baked goods like cornbread, though I haven't tried that yet) where I want to increase the protein content. One tablespoon has a little over 10 grams of protein. The price seems reasonable compared to what I see in the stores. This find has made me one happy hiker!

Nutritional label IHCORRECT. product contains 4 to 5 grams SIMPLE SUGAR per serving
I recently purchased two containers of Nature Target unflavored whey protein isolate on Amazon. There is a serious error on the nutritional label. You list per serving, 26 grams protein, 5 grams carbohydrate (which consists of 4 g dietary fiber and 0 g sugar), for 130 calories. According to your label, one serving contains 1 gram of non-fiber carbohydrate. 26 grams of protein contains 104 cal. What is responsible for the additional 26 calories (130 total calories minus 104 cal from protien)? This 26 cal must come from the carbohydrates. Insoluble fiber contains 0 cal. Soluble fiber contains 2 cal per gram. Non fiber carbohydrates contain 4 cal per gram. If the fiber on your label is insoluble, then your reported 1 gram of non-fiber carbohydrate would contain 4 calories. Therefore, 22 calories (26 minus 4) must be SIMPLE SUGARS. You incorrectly report 0 sugar on the label. The correct amount of sugar per serving should be listed as 5 grams. If the fiber on your label is soluble, then your reported 4 grams of fiber would be responsible for 8 cal (because insoluble fiber has 2 cal per gram). In this case. there are 14 cal (22 - 8) cal that must come from SUGAR, which corresponds to 4 grams of SUGAR. I am a bodybuilder, and I buy whey protein isolate specifically because the milk sugars have been fillered out. I pay close attention to the sugar content, and I expect that the nutritional label is accurate. You have listed zero sugar per serving, but the actual sugar content is between 4 and 5 grams per serving.

OK, but sweeter than I would prefer
As others have noted it is sweet. Tastes a little bit like malted milk to me. It does mix and dissolve pretty easily. Drinking it with cold water is meh. The best option I've found for consuming it is to mix it with Greek yogurt, dark Hershey's cocoa, roasted hazelnuts and fresh berries. Tastes like a chocolate pudding with berries.

Unflavored now tastes sweetened
I have bought this product two times before and liked it. However, this third time I bought it they must have changed the formula. The Unflavored now is sweetened. I don't like sweet in my coffee. I need to find another brand of Unflavored protein. Disappointing!

Has several uses.
I mix this into my v-8 , it needs a shaker bottle because the juice is not thin to mix. I also add it to my gluten free bread to help give structure that the bread is missing due to the no gluten.Good value and quality for what I spent. I donโt notice a taste to it. No digestive issues. No clumps when opened.

It's sweet now and calories count went up
Opened the new jar and it is sweet. I was buying this for at least a year. Compared to the older jar - same nutrition but calories went up from 90 to 130. Some changes in the ingredients but nothing indicate sweetener. I cancelled my subscription. I was buying the product because it was unflavored and had low cholesterol.
