Amazing headphones
I've had these headphones for over a year now and they are still amazing. I play games for hours and they are super comfortable. The performance is great with nice sound quality and pretty good noise cancelation. The cord is sturdy and doesn't break easy. If you wear them for too long it will leave a gamer dent, which can hurt but that would take wearing them for many hours multiple days on a row.

Great sound, durable, and stylish
I've had a wired pair of HyperX Cloud II's for years now and loved them. I broke my wireless gaming headphones I had (which I used for convenience), and I was scouring the internet for reviews looking for the best headset for the money as I'm sure most people want the best bang for the buck. Shockingly no websites I came across so much as mentioned the HyperX Cloud II wireless headphones. It was only by chance that I came across an ad for them. I'm very happy I did because one because these even outperform the headphones I was replacing; which is funny because the ones that broke were recommended by many review websites I looked at. With that said - there's some improvements made with the wireless version of the headphones. The ones I like most are the visual red LED ring around the mic when its muted and also the audible 2 beep or 1 beep for mute/unmute. The other thing I love and this is obvious because they're wireless.. I don't have anything hanging off my shirt with all the controls like the wired version. The sound quality is awesome with both pair which makes sense considering it's the same 53mm drivers powering both versions. The 7.1 audio isn't the absolute best in the market but I'd argue they hold their own for the price range they're in (and potentially against higher priced). It's proved very useful and accurate in games like Call of Duty which hearing where enemy footsteps/movement is can be the difference between winning and losing. Wrapping things up.. I bought these as a refurb - I haven't purchased many refurbished products but I am very impressed. Aside from it not being original packaging, I would have no idea these aren't brand new. No scratches or dings and everything that you'd get new was included. I paid 1/2 price and got an incredible product. 10/10 recommend. Final thought: the reason for 3/5 on noise cancellation is these aren't made to be that way. However they do block out a fair amount of noise from wearing them.

Really nice for the money, control not in the best position.
Comfy, very high quality audio, one of the best mics included in a headset, very sturdy, the only con is the long cable and the controls in the cable

Review for refurbished Cloud II
Although I am very skeptical on buying refurbished items, I decided to save some money on these wireless headphones. They did come in a generic box. Opened the box and everything was included and in the original factory sealed bags. Charged the headphones to 100% and installed the Hyper X software. the sound quality and microphone are very good. The microphone lights up red when in a muted state. Buttons are easy to find and control. These are very comfortable and pretty light. The battery so far has lasted 3 full 8-9 hour sessions in iracing. Very impressed and happy to save with a refurbished (new) product. I can definitely tell the difference in the stereo vs the 7.1 surround sound. And the nice thing is if you set it to 7.1 surround, it retains that setting when you turn them off an back on again. Excellent buy!

5 Years Later
I have beat the actual hell out of these headphones. I've had to replace the ear covers once since the material literally fell apart at like year 4 of heavy daily usage. I learned if you don't mess with the mic, it works fine. I seen a bunch of complaints about the mic before I bought but honestly haven't had any issues. Pretty solid and clear mic. For the money I spent and the hell I've put these through over the years, its worth the purchase.
