Great Little Grinder to Experiment With
I got my little grinder today and used it right away. I roasted and chopped the raw nuts prior to grinding as instructed in the directions. Peanut butter oozed out as expected. I had to keep turning the nut guide to keep the nuts flowing smoothly. Not sure purpose of the oil dispenser as I lost all the oil in the first attempt of grinding - dispenser hole too big?? Unit cleaned up nicely. Noise level was similar to when I grind coffee or spices - no different really (but then I have older units). Grinder materials (plastic) seem somewhat cheap but design of the unit makes a lot of sense, very clever actually. I did have to stop when I could tell motor was getting hot and straining (smelling). So I'll only be able to grind about 9 oz at a time which should tie me over for about week (as long as hubby stays away from it).

Okay
It was alot smaller then I expected, it does work but you have to shop the peanuts really small .

Metallic taste and smell
Unfortunately it is so loud that I can’t stand it. Also, I tried on hazelnuts, butter came out ok but had this metallic taste and burning metal smell. It is affordable but the process needs improvement. Should use food grade stainless steel for grinding. Grinder still had some machine oil left in it.
