50 Pack 90 Degree Soft Close Surface Mount Spring Hinges, No Pre-drilled Easy Installation, Noiseless Frameless Hidden Concealed Kitchen Cabinet Hinge for Cupboard Folded Replacement Hardware

Tried these for a non-door project. They worked better than expected. Used them for hidden hinges for the top of a box. A little tricky to install because they are hidden. No fault of product. These easily held the top up when open and allowed a slow close without slamming and pinching fingers.

The media could not be loaded. They work as intended. These hinges solved a storage issue for me in my camper van. They facilitate a 90 degree opening and ensure the door lays flat with the cabinet (see video). They are easy to install and offer ample support with the screws included. I do not put much weight on them when open, but they from my experience they easily hold 10-15 pounds. they support daily use/wear and tear and have not loosed at all while using them in the camper van.

The media could not be loaded. I built a cabinet with inset door and pull out drawers. As you can see by the photo, I originally tried European hidden hinges. Unfortunately the door blocked the drawer rails. I tried 5 different hinges that were supposed to clear the frame and none did. These do!They came with instructions and were easy to install. One important note, the directions for an inset door state to install the door side of the hinge 4mm from the edge. That ended up with the door not inset flush with the cabinet. I made yet another set of holes in the door and installed the hinge 2mm from the edge that did the trick.The door is a soft close, but it stops about an 1” short of fully closing. As sturdy as the hinge is, it tends to sink a little. This door weighs about 3 lbs and the handle side sags. This is maple wood. The screws are soft and one stripped. I recommend pre-drilling if using hardwood. I also came up one screw short. I have plenty on hand so no big deal.Overall, for my project and the fact that I am so ready to ne done with it, the hinges worked the best out of 5 styles. They aren’t as heavy or as bulky as some others that I tried. I would buy these again. I’m sure with a little skill, they would work even better.

Good product, but very poor installation instructions. No easy way to install. I had to go thru you tube and end it up asking a carpenter for installation. Too bad.

Fits great

These hinges have too much mechanical play in them. After installing them the first time with clamps holding the doors in place and installed per the instructions, they sagged an eighth of an inch when the clamps were removed. I had to unscrew the base of the hinges and slide them up to anticipate the sag. It worked.They don't really self-close without some help which defeats the self-closing feature.There are no vertical adjusting holes which aggravated the process. They have horizontal holes, but if you follow the instructions, you really don't need them much.The screws are really cheap also. The heads either stripped out or broke off. And yes, I was using the correct size screwdriver. I was given enough screws to install ten hinges. With the breakage, I cannot install the two remaining hinges. It does not really matter though as I threw them away.

Great deal. Worked very well for bench seating.
