HOMCOM Hall Tree with Bench and Shoe Storage 3-in-1 Coat Rack Cream White

I was super excited for this item to come in and it didn’t disappoint. It fit great in my space, it has plenty of hooks and the trunk space for storage, and it looks really pretty. The assembly was the worst part for me. (1) This is definitely a TWO person job. Do not be stubborn and try to do the whole thing by yourself like I did, or you’ll be sitting there struggling for three hours. (2) I had no issues with any missing pieces or hardware for assembly, but one thing the package didn’t include was a kind of tool to assemble everything. All you’ll need is a screw driver, but mine happened to be misplaced at the time, so an allen wrench was used and I struggled majorly. (3) Be mindful of what you’re paying for. It looks sleek and nice overall in the finished product, but the pieces are not the best quality and can be damaged easily, so no drills or over tightening the screws! Overall I’m very happy and I look forward to seeing how long this lasts.

I was a little reluctant on purchasing this as it had mixed reviews but I can say that this Is really wonderful. It did take me one person quite a long time to put together I will say. The instructions were fine but I felt like they were a little confusing. If you are good at putting Ikea Furniture together some things you'll be able to figure out for yourself if the instructions aren't so clear. It comes with two piece which you will want to use as this is very heavy and if it fell on your pet, child your feet even it would be bad. It looks really nice and almost built in when its flush against the wall!

Perfect fit. Dimensions were spot on with straightforward instructions. Assembly time was pretty accurate. I was able to assemble 90% by myself, but needed help towards the end. Instructions recommends 2 people. I really like the product so far. It currently acts as a landing place for the kid’s backpacks. I do not think the hooks will sustain their heavy bags so they are sitting them on the bench for now.

This seems like a solid piece for lower priced self assembled kit furniture (time will tell). It looks nice when completed. While it cannot ever compare to solid wood craftsmanship it will serve its purpose just fine. The hooks seem frail so I don't know how much abuse they will take like really heavy coats getting yanked off of them. They are also held on by tiny short screws. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The directions are in diagram form with no printed text except part letters. If you take your time, and study them it is pretty easy to assemble. Time to assemble depends on the person. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. I have no complaints about this, and it is what I expected it to be.

Directions are not clear. Hardest piece of furniture I've ever assembled. Make sure you have your own screwdriver cause unlike others, this one doesn't provide one. It's pretty when assembled, but should not have taken so long. Don't recommend purchasing.

Nice item for the price

Delivered ahead of schedule, yeah! Not a very large or heavy box, hmm?? Directions for assembly are diagram only and fairly unclear, boo. Be cautious as to right and wrong side, we took it apart twice, sad! Took 2 of us 3 hours to assemble (because he started without me!) Ours is black and the fake wood (not even particle board) chipped in a couple places and had scuff marks that will be behind the coats, oh well! I'm disappointed because it's flimsier than expected. I really loved the pictures, and it fits where I wanted nicely, it's replacing a coat tree and shoe rack so it will do until I can find a nicer, heavier one.
