Pebeo 038004 Porcelaine 150, China Paint Thinner, 45 ml Bottle

I got several Porcelaine 150 China Paints in a bag of paint supplies at Goodwill, I figured that some might be dried out to some extent so I purchased this product. It turned out that the Pewter was dried out completely so I put a bit of this in the bottle and stirred it in with a paintbrush, it immediately dissolved some of the paint and so I added some more and mixed that in as mush as I could but it mostly remained a colored puddle on top of the dry paint. A couple of days latter I checked on it and about 1/4 of the paint seemed to have turned into something usable so I added more thinner and mixed it as best I could and waited another day. The result is a bottle of usable beautiful paint! The bottle was 3/4 full when dry and is now is full to where it would have been at purchase.

My bottles of Pebeo Porcelaine paint (an excellent product--does not wash off in dishwasher!) were useless because the paint had become too thick after a few years and the images peeled off as soon as I removed the stencils. This seemed to thin the paint perfectly (haven't actually tried painting with it yet) and was unavailable at Michael's, where I originally purchased, or any other store. Happy to find on Amazon!

good in general, but too many bubbles when you paint it on. I'm VERY careful when I mix the paint -- stirring it gently to prevent creating bubbles, But when I paint it on, I still get a lot of bubbles on the object.

My paint was becoming very thick and gooey. The thinner made the paint like it was when I first open the bottle.

Used on metal, both Brass and Nickel, jewelry making. Once baked the finish appears just as enamel finish but is much easier to achieve.

Came packed well ..fast shipping ...worked well with the paint ..I painted a couple of my mason jars ..and needed the thinner to thin the paint first to give them a slight tinted look ....
