CC2030 will collect energy data from DAE electrical meters and send them to Cloud Server through Ethernet. With PC, cell phone or tablet, landlords or property managers can get access to real time data, monthly kWh and billing reports to their tenants. TOU (Time of Use) billing reports are also available. No IT guy required. Just connect wires as per a simple picture (see video) & ready to go. - For existing building, hard to draw cable between upgraded DEM730P, (close to electric panel) and CC2030 (close to your router), please choose 1 CC2030 KIT + 2 WSC500A RF Converters to connect electric meter and CC2030 wirelessly (3rd picture). - Conforms to International Standard IEC62053-21 and IEC62052-11. For UL/cUL listed and California CTEP approved electric meters, please refer to DAE Polaris 1500 series like DAE P153-200-S KIT. Factory Calibration Certificates available. Before energizing the breaker of course and using the little inserts you run the hot wires through and tighten the little screws in box to penetrate the insulation. Takes just a few minutes. Reads in kwh with tenths as last digit. Very compact and easy to read. A far cry from the old bubble gum meters. Naturally if you install it inside your box you are going to have to fit things a certain way or cut holes etc so you be the judge on what code requires or that you want for safety. I include this pic with my temporary setup so you can see how simple it is to connect. Been using one of the meters a few months and very satisfied. I should drop a star because on the first meter it must have been a return and the sharp point of the screw had been broken off, but what the heck why throw it out. I've put 8 in our rental unit A/C's so far and one on the pool pump.
