This series has the kiddos attention!
My ten year old daughter was so excited for these books. She even convinced me to give her the first one early. I read some with her and I’m impressed with the math woven in. Seems like a great series that is educational and entertaining.

Makes programming concepts accessible to kids
I found this book did a great job of explaining programming concepts to the kids. The author did an amazing job conveying concepts like Variables If statements, loops and even functions in an engaging way and wrapped up in a engrossing plot to keep kids invested. I only with there was a specific website with the GO IDE to immediately help kids practice some of the topics

A big hit for our 7 yo kiddo
Bought these as a gift for our 7yo for his birthday. We haven't even given him this set yet. He found a copy of one book at the local library and devoured it in 2 days. He says it's an awesome book so I have no doubt he'll love the set once he gets it. The stories are written in graphic novel type. The graphics grab the interest even of our younger not-yet-reader.

Learn the basics of computer code.
My grandson was very happy to receive this set on his 10th birthday (he actually hinted he wants it as a birthday gift). He can now convert decimal to binary and vice-versa.

Exciting to read and interact.
My 7-year-old grandchild loves this set of books. She reads and writes code. This is an excellent way to get your child excited to read and interact with the coding.

Great set!
My 8 year old absolutely loves these books. Super cute story, and it taught him the basics of binary and coding. He's on his 3rd or 4th time through the series.

Talk with your kids about language
A reviewer "Nova's list" said it well, but I'd like to reiterate. The premise of the book and incorporating Logo language is great. However, I am bummed that the authors decided to start the book with kids swearing "idiots", "idiot jerk-faces" and the adults in the book say "sniveling brats" (about students) and "stop being trash" (school principal to the protagonist student girl). All of this in volume 1. I think this is intended for middle schoolers. Although chances are, if your kid is 12, and interested in computers and coding, this book will be way below their knowledge at that age.Your 7-8-9 year old may gloss over that language just like mine did but this is pretty disappointing. Same goes for "stereotypical" scenes of bullying and sexist jokes the kids model here.
