For the price, you get a generous amount of rods, making them a much more affordable option than what I usually find in the local hardware stores. ​My Experience: ​The Value: The price point is very fair. If you have a lot of "non-critical" welding to do, these are a much more sensible way to stock up without breaking the bank. ​Striking the Arc: I did find that getting a consistent arc started was a bit of a struggle at first. They seemed a little "stubborn" to get going compared to some of the premium rods I’ve used in the past. ​The "User" Factor: To be fair, I’m the first to admit that my welding skills are a bit rusty. This difficulty might be more down to my own technique or my machine settings rather than the rods themselves.
