Awesome Mirror & Excellent Mount
Works great and the mount is a lot sturdier than a prior mirror (not this brand) we had. I was worried with our Oklahoma wind whipping it around. Thankfully, it hasn't moved since it's been mounted outside to see our drive-up area. This mount is excellent and helps to keep the mirror stable. Our old one had a ball bearing to turn the mirror easily, but I do not recommend that type for outside. It has to be sturdier like this!

Just what I needed
I love this mirror! I got it because there is a blind spot in my driveway when I am backing out of my garage where I cannot see pedestrians or cyclists. This mirror allows me to have full view of the sidewalk and has given me such peace of mind. I absolutely love it and wish I had gotten it much sooner. It is a great size and hangs perfectly on the corner of my fence. It was easy to install and I am so happy every time I see it and the great view it gives me. Money well spent!!

Durable, weather-Hardy
This has been mounted on my front porch railing through all kinds of weather and allows me to glance out the window in the door from the inside and see if packages have arrived. It also works when viewing the Ring display remotely.

Lightweight plastic
A little disappointed with the quality & uncertain at this time about the durability. It's all plastic so we'll see how long it lasts. Should be ok as its inside? Definitely wouldnt last long outside in the weather & wind. On the other hand, the price is in line. Will need to spend more to get a heavier duty & better quality product.

Decent mirror, but way, way over-engineered for installation.
This mirror is light, bright and does the job - but my 2-stars is for the over-engineering of the mounting. I bought a different model (16") for a different spot, and it went up in less than five minutes. This one took almost a half-hour, mostly because of the tools needed. Ultimately, the mounting bracket can probably hold 25 lbs, but this mirror only weighs about 6 oz. Specifically: The package contents do not include washers. Based on the design and the need for some rotational flexibility, there should be washers on either side of the bolts to facilitate adjustment. The "Things You Will Need" section calls for a wrench. Since you need to hold the bolt-head on one side as you tighten the nut on the other side, you need two wrenches. And the size is not the kind a household DIY-er might have around - both the bolt and nut are 14mm. I have a set of metric wrenches, but I have only one of each - so I had to use an adjustable wrench. A socket wrench would be better. Once the bracket is secured to the back of the mirror, you need to secure the swivel part with three bolts and nuts. Three 1/2" bolts to secure a 5-oz piece of plastic seems like overkill. It's a little clumsy to hold the piece in place while putting in the bolts - a helper is handy, but i used a spring-clamp to hold everything in place. Finally, once this has been placed, you need to reach all the way around the mirror to tighten the bolts to hold the angle. I suppose if this were being mounted on a pole it would be easy to just do it from the back, but I put this on the side of my house and had to stand on a ladder with a wrench in each hand and tighten the bolts/nuts blind while reaching around to the back. The other mirror I bought connected with a single bolt to a ball-socket that 180" rotation side to side and up/down. For the weight of these, that is perfectly adequate. I considered returning this, but ultimately decided the PIA factor of installation was about even with the PIA factor of boxing it up and sending it back - but unless you have the right tools I'd advise against this one. The two pictures attached show the two different installation methods - this mirror is the one with the four 14mm bolts, the other is the one that went up quickly. I suppose this mirror installation may last longer than the other - but we shall see. I regret not buying two of the other type.
