Seven-year old grandson loved playing with this game and It’s nice that it holds all the balls inside and can carry the game around.

The product kind of comes apart really easily and it was received defective. One of the sides will not fit because the plastic piece is made larger than the other side. REVIEW UPDATE WITH REPLACEMENT: I updated the review. The replacement works. I am happy with the product.

This game is tons of fun for kids and the adults too! It's a good ice breaker game to have on hand for holidays or family gatherings. You can even get the old grouches to join in because it's a game they already grew up knowing how to play! (I've discovered the best games that are all inclusive, are ones that aren't overly complicated, and aren't generation specific.) I've watched my dad pass on joining lots of family games. And all of those games were ones that I think he either saw potential to look "dumb" because he wasn't hip to the generational lingo or idea of the game, or he just didn't want to spend 15 minutes trying to figure out the rules of the game. This one bridges the gap. They get it, and it's way more exciting than the traditional Connect Four game for the kids too! Although I will say, if the sound of plastic balls bouncing off your table and onto the floor/under the couch/who knows where sometimes bothers you, maybe tell the kids to take it to the trampoline or the grass out back haha.

Purchased this game for after Thanksgiving dinner entertainment. It did not disappoint. It kept 8 people ranging in age from 6 to 25 years old busy and boisterous for two solid hours and then some ! Super easy to put together and set up. They played the fast paced version-both people bouncing the balls at the same time-needed someone retrieving the missed ones as the game was going. Once someone didn't clip the bottom door shut tight and mid game it fell open and all of the balls bounced and rolled out : ) anyway, it is NOISY and you need a pretty good area to play it. Would I recommend it ? YOU BET ! I would think even younger could play it too. We played at the kitchen table, if you don't want to listen to all of the noise I would advise trying to find another room with a table. Being the Granny I enjoyed watching them all laugh and have a good time and could put up with the racket for a little while anyways.

Had fun playing with my kid and loves it, balls are of good quality, bouncy and should be able to last. Easy to keep/fold for storage. Only downside is the backing is made of paper, will be great if it's made of more durable material, plastic.

This game is so much fun! And not as hard as you might think either, I am uncoordinated and managed fine after a little practice. The only annoying thing is picking up the balls after they bounce away, but getting better at making the shot helps with this lol. My whole family and I played it, we all enjoyed it.

Connect four the original game can only be played so many times before you feel like you are leaking brain cells out your ears. This game however has had us laughing, and running around like crazy until we are out of breath. We set it up on the far side of the table, and inevitably balls will miss and go rolling off around the house. So we run after them at full speed all while trying to hinder the opponent as they try and track down their missing balls. Because, the more shots on the game, the better your chance of winning. You can make the game less crazy by simply taking turns and going slow. But the mad chaos that goes with free for all, fast as you can play is most of the charm. Highly recommend. Especially if you are a competitive family. ;)

Purchased for children age 11-13 however the whole family got competitive with this game. I would say a winner for all ages. No issues with quality. Did exactly what it was suppose to. Would highly recommend.
