Custom X Titan XPE Crescent Tail Bodyboard - Choose Color Size

This review isn't about the board itself, rather on the seller. I'd have left 5 stars, but the seller chooses to advertise having a leash in their photos. When in fact, it does not come with a leash. So I had to wait even longer and order a leash when I could've just done that at the same time when I ordered the Custom X bodyboard. The seller should remove the photo of all the colorful leashes.Other than that, the board is solid, well made. I like it. And it's packed well for delivery.

260lbs, 6'1". Just started getting into bodyboarding. I'd tried a ~$40 board from Costco. It worked, but I could feel it flexing during the ride and it felt like I was "in" the water rather than "on" it. With this new board, it feels solid with no flex lengthwise or across. Very buoyant as well, and the finish is good. I was going to spend more, but this one had good reviews, and I'm glad I went with it. I have used it probably 6-7 times in 2-3 hour chunks around Santa Monica. Not huge waves, but enough to get a good workout and put a smile on my face.The only thing I'd consider changing is to get a slightly shorter board. I went with the 45", which is great to ride, but it's a bit unwieldy getting up on. Doing it again, I'd drop down to a 44" to still get the double stringer. But this is purely on my to decide, and no reflection on the product itself.One thing, with the leash (remember, buy a leash): Be mindful of where you try to install it. This board is thick, and the leash needs to be slightly more towards the front than on other boards due to that thickness. If you poke the hole too far back, you won't be able to thread the leash bolt without crushing the foam.Overall, works as advertised, no complaints, all positive. Happy with the purchase, and if this one got stolen or lost, I'd buy it again without hesitation.

This board worked awesome! We got the 43 size since I’m 5’ 10”, 170lbs and my husband is about 5’ 9”, 200lbs - it worked great for both of us! We took this to Oahu with us after breaking the super cheap boards we bought at the ABC store for $30. Bodyboarding is our favorite thing to do while in Hawaii so making sure we had something sturdy and wouldn’t break was important. I would totally recommend this board because it is the PE core which I’ve heard is way better than the EPS core. You do need to buy a leash for it but they make awesome leashes on Amazon for about $15 - it makes for such a sweet setup.

Great board if you are under 200lbs heavier riders will not like the flex even with two stringers- warm waters 75+F. make the board more flexible as well. otherwise great board for the price cant wait to get into heavy surf with it! Mahalo

It is definitely heavier than expected, but offers a great balance in rigidity and flex. Buoyant enough for my mid life frame, and took to spins and carves as well as in my old "sponger" days. Great price for the quality.

The board I ordered was suppose to have a white bottom. When It arrived it had a green bottom, Yellow top with red lines on the sides. At first I was upset but then I looked at it for a few and thought. It looks like a Rasta board! It actually grew on me! I have not rode it yet but soon I will be tearing it up with my new board! Having graphics put on the bottom that my daughter drew for me. Can't wait to ride it!

The board is very sturdy and ready for drop knees! I've had a custom X board before and really appreciate the stiffness of the board to allow for 360 and drop knee tricks. Great board for beginners or advanced users.

Bigger board and sturdy. I’m 6-2 225 and this board does well for me. My wife tried it out and it was too big for her but we were getting her a different one anyhow. I have had it out three or four times now and I’m very satisfied. Make sure you get a leash as you will need to make your own holes. Also pay attention to the size you get so you know where the stringers are. They send you a diagram with the board so don’t worry. It’s super easy, just use a screwdriver.
