Great build! Recommend for 12+

This set was extremely fun to build! The instructions were very clear, and I appreciated that it came with extra pieces just in case. It’s a very technical build, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young kids—but for older teens or adults who enjoy a challenge, it’s perfect. The quality is excellent—honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference between this and a LEGO set. One of the coolest parts was being able to see how the engine works once it was assembled. I’m definitely planning to try more sets from this company!

This is a very challenging but fun build. The hardest part is building the internals but once you have that done it is easy sailing. I only had a few issues. 1) The bottom air filter plate is held on by 4 short studs that don't have much purchase, and it would detach with the slightest pressure, so I epoxied the plate onto the studs which fixed the issue. 2) It was missing a cosmetic part that I'm currently getting from the seller. Fortunately, I was able to finish the build without it. 3) It would be better if the piston heads attached to the piston shafts with technic connections since they kept coming apart during the early part of the build before the basic frame was locked down. It took me 3 partial days to get it all together. It is pretty complex so I wasn't sure if it would actually work when I turned it on but it did! It's the first Mould King set I have built, and I'm pleased that it was just as good of an experience as LEGO.

First, the picture instructions weren't an issue. They were quite clear and thorough, except for the later images of the battery pack since the booklet used a diff model then the battery provided. The main issues I had were when you lean the fork at a forward angle all the way, it wont pull back without assistance. The other is the bigger issue, I've experienced these types before and they always annoyed me. The polarities for the motors are reversed for 3 of the 4 controls. Turning right made you turn left, going forward made you go back, raising the lift up made it go down instead, etc... They try to compensate for this by sending you and app that lets you drive with your phone so that you can program in which direction goes which way based on the button pressed. It's better then nothing but still leaves the included RC control completely useless. I still have a few more Mould King kits on the side and a few more on delivery so I hope this is doesn't repeat itself. Edit: Update I raised the rate from 3 star to 4 stars AFTER I started on my other Mould King model. The current model showed something about the D-Pads that weren't listen on THIS model's booklet. Apparently if your polarities don't rotate the motors in the proper directions, you just need to hold down that direction + it's opposite for 3 sec and it will reverse the rotation (ie, Holding the UP and DOWN buttons together for secs will reverse the rotation of that motor). I hope this tip will help anyone in my position.

Awful box. Unless you’re about to spend 3 weeks making it, don’t buy it. Don’t buy it if you’re under 18 too. If you’re under 18 you’ll probably get really frustrated with it. It’s not easy to assemble and more annoying that fun. Not worth the buy. Ridiculous

Absolute fire! All pieces are there with a steep by step guide! These types of legos are great to put together!
