Okay, I’m a fan! I decided to go without nail polish for the first time in a year. My nails looked awful without polish - yellowed, with big ridges and ragged cuticles. They are also brittle as are many older peoples. I was looking for a way to care for them during my polish break and maybe improve their appearance a little bit. I’ve never cared too much for the other nail creams and oils I’ve used, but This. Is. Good. After just a few days of use, my cuticles are smoother, my nails feel moisturized and stronger, and they just look better.So glad I bought this! I put it on every time I wash my hands. Love the scent too.

Amazing product! I just bought a second container so I can have one in my office and one in my bedroom. I normally have strong nails but after a solid year of acrylics, glue, etc my nails were ruined. They were so thin and flimsy. Within days of using this product they started to feel a little stronger and healthier. I love the coconut smell. I read some reviews where people disliked it, but I think it's great and it's not overpowering. Every once in a while I catch a whiff and it smells great. The consistency is very lightweight and it readily soaks in, which is fantastic.

This review is the first step in a series of reviews. If I dont do it this way, I will forget entirely, and if this stuff works for how bad my nails are, then others need to know.First edit on 2/24/25:I have been a nail biter my whole life, up until a few years ago. In higher anxiety/stress times, I catch myself starting to bite them again. Well, my husband noticed me biting my nails about 6 weeks ago and suggested I get gel nails done. So I made it a mom and daughter date to get our nails done. After 3 weeks, I had to remove them. And let me tell you, I am never getting gel nails again. My nails are flimsy, thin and overall weaker than they have ever been before. I need help with them, so I searched for days before landing on this product. Now, I only really have time to apply once or twice a day, so my progress will be slower than folks who apply 3 or more times. So far, I am happy with the product. I love the smell. I've been applying it at bedtime, so the coconut scent is extra relaxing. But my favorite part, after only a week of use, the skin around my nails is healthier, softer and stronger. So that gives me hope that this stuff will help. I did also get a fancy cuticle oil which I apply once this stuff is soaked in and my nails are dry again. I end up coating basically the entirety of my finger tips, and my calluses from playing guitar are still there, but softer. You do not need much at all, so I see this little bottle lasting a long time.The attached photo are my nails now. The short ones and damaged nails are from my nails breaking, tearing, and chipping since I removed the gel nails. I will attach progress photos when I come back to edit my review. I've used this product for a few months now, and even within the first few days of use there is a noticeable difference! My nails are much stronger now, and I've gifted this to a few relatives who also love it! I haven't had the insane thickness difference that some of these reviews show, however, I've also just used it once per day while the instructions recommend application 2-3 times per day. I actually stopped using it for a week recently since I had moved the product elsewhere in the house, but when I started using it again, my nails instantly started to feel thicker. I have the coconut scented one, and it smells very good. The cream is also very hydrating- any excess on the nail I rub into my hands, and I haven't had dry hands since I first got the product. I highly recommend trying this strengthener!

Hard As Hoof improved the condition of my nails in a very short time. The peeling and ridges are improved or resolved, the cuticles are healthy with no tears, nails are stronger and growth much improved as well.

As a nail tech I swear by this thing. I stopped buying my own nails and this stuff made my nails so strong. Got rid of my hangnail problem and dry cuticles. Helped me also stop picking my cuticles so much.Smells good, and doesn't taste atrocious if you accidentally put your fingers in your mouth while eating. Id say the only down side is having to remember to apply it so often. It seems excessive until you get into the routine. If you apply it before bed it will have all night to soak in, so that's a good time to put it on a little thick.This jar will last me about another month maybe, and I bought it about 5 weeks ago, so the size isn't terrible like thought.

I wish I took a before picture. After I got my acrylic nails removed my nail beds were a MESS. So damaged and thin. I bought this based on some reviews and I'm glad I did. After just 2 weeks I had VERY noticeably healthier nails and now at 3 months later - my nails are strong and my cuticles are cleaner/softer than ever. HIGHLY recommend. I keep it right on my desk and use it all day.
