Great side handle! Feels good to hold and a true feeling of quality.

First off I have to say, I freaking love this handle!! I completely like that you can use it on either side of the camera plus on top of that it is adjustable up and down. It has a very solid cold shoe mount on top of it that easily holds light panels, mics or even monitors without flexing or making you feel it will come loose. Another goodie it has is a built in compartment on the top to hold the Allen wrench securely with two magnets. This Allen wrench is used to adjust the handle height and it can be used to tighten the thumb screws if you want. An added bonus to the Allen wrench is that it will work on other SmallRig items so you can use it across the board. I am definitely going to buy one more if not two more for my other cameras.

Makes holding the camera easier, very well made

Got this to go with my Sony a6600 camera and Smallrig cage. I love the feel of this handle. It is sturdy and after you use the built-in hex wrench to tighten the two silver knobs it is rock solid. But I found that when mounted the way the illustrations show, the two knobs get in the way of your thumb and make it difficult to hold the wooden handle securely. I ended up reversing the bracket, so that the knobs are in front of the handle. That worked. With the bracket mounted high on the handle, my thumb lays on the top of the bracket and just touches the knobs. And my middle finger goes just under the bracket. So, if you find you can't get your thumb between the handle and the knobs, try reversing the bracket.

Been using it with my Canon R7 which is incredibly small and light weight, but it doesn't have an easily available hand grip/battery holder. This serves the purpose well and it also fits well to my, Smallrig cage. The wooden handle is comfortable and adds just enough weight and grip to feel more stable when shooting macros.

A great addition to any camera on the heavier side. This grip can easily be attached on the sides or even top for added stability but it also looks great and constantly gets attention

They're sturdy, comfortable, they adjust easily, they have a cold shoe and screw holes for accessories built in. There's even an Allen wrench hidden in each one. I was worried I might not be happy or might have trouble configuring it, but I don't think I've had many things come together as quickly.
