Mattel Games Skip-bo Mod Card Game

We appreciate being prepared for what may head our way. That said, if you have a family perhaps with teens and small children, the standard deck of cards for an emergency situation isn't always...one size fits all. May I suggest this great game to keep minds in a positive place when it's most needed.While space and packing weight is always a premium which I can appreciate, this is well designed and keeps everything together including the instructions.The case is hard plastic and so the entire unit weighs in at just under 13oz. Yes, that definately is more than a deck of playing cards alone, but the tray serves the game well, and keeps cards safe from being misplaced. As far as space goes it's about an inch thick and 8 inches in length.So pick these and other "MOD" game releases while available for sleepovers as well as for those times we hope never come! Have fun!

Love this game. The dice makes it even more fun. We always take Skip-Bo with us, so this is perfect.

The game itself is fun to play!! I didn't think we would like the dice option, however when we tried it.. it added an awesome twist. You can totally play the original game without the dice. The plastic case is great for storage. Keeps it all organized and together. It's a 'pita' to open for the blondes like myself in my household. But we did manage to figure out it slides lol. Great game at a great price!! The cards are much smaller then average cards for those that care about thay. But I find them easier tonhold. Just a bit harder to shuffle!

These were not regular skip bo cards, they were smaller in size and wasn’t happy with them so I sent them back

Not easy to find these "Mod" game sets. SkipBo is a family favorite. I think the case it comes in is worth it.

I'm not sure if someone else talked about the size of the actual cards in this version of Skip Bo, but I missed it if they did. I hate the cards. They are smaller than a standard deck of cards which makes it very difficult to shuffle. I don't understand why they didn't make them standard size.I play with my 7 year old and we do like the addition of the die, but it doesn't change the game all that much. But I will just play with the regular Skip Bo cards and use the die with that. Which is a real bummer because one of the reasons I bought this version, besides the introduction of the die, was the very cool carrying case. I'm not sure that I would have bought this if I had known the cards would be this size. The die doesn't make it that much better.

Long-time lover of Skip Bo but very disappointed in this set as cards are not standard playing card size. Too hard to hold and cannot be used with shuffler. Shuffling by hand tough too! This one is going back today.

Came in good condition and fun game to play!
