These deodorizers work really well, and so easily! I bought them to put in some display cases with old dolls, and what a difference they have made. They don't leave any odor themselves, and they sure have put a huge dent in the musty smells coming from dolls that have been in storage for a long time. I appreciate having a good number of them, and am going to put some in the big zippered bags that store sheets and blankets--they get musty--as well as in the cupboards under the attic eaves where we store things. They're the perfect size--not too small--and they're not just for shoes! I will definitely order these again when more are needed. I appreciated the handwritten note included in the bag, and am happy to have bought these from a small family business.

Day 1: My Gwad, how did we get to this point.....? It has only been 4 WEEKS since we bought my husbands perspective "running" shoes. They are pretty sweet kicks, i only wish i got some for myself, BUT boy does my husband know how to stink a shoe up! It stank like your black trash can, sitting in the sun in the middle of July, the day before trash day! LAWD all mighty rid this home of this wretched stench!! You see we have a bin system. Each member of the family has a bin, and well, my husbands bin is quite potent! So one day I just said, please, Jesus take the wheel, i have no idea HOW to rid this bin of its putrid, evil malodorous stench..... Dead animal came to mind every time I walked by... And good God almighty, did Jesus provide! The box came within 24 hours, which has now given me over 24 hours to post my first opinion of these charcoal bags of magic.... I like them! But more importantly, i feel great about the small business that sent them to me, and how they are truly making the world a better place. You see, I can only assume that this small business has found a group that helps small business' get more orders, by any respectable means necessary. Yes I was honestly "conned" into buying this product, but only because it was something I have needed in my life. The storm will always provide. First, this is a small business people, I received a hand written letter in my box, and I know if these black magic charcoal bags DON'T work, I could contact them, and I know without a doubt they would help me in anyway, within reason. I absolutely love and respect the people that take the time to do what it takes to get their business off the ground, it isn't an easy task, and i feel these guys can do it, only with our help! Second, I am all in on the natural granola band wagon. All my cleaning supplies are all natural, and i am so HAPPY to find yet another natural alternative to helping me with my stank problem. and for helping me level up on my mission to natural healing....... anyways! Families in general LITERALLY stink! they smell so bad, but we love them, and we should do ALL we can to protect them from dangerous chemicals. Once you go black charcoal, you never go back! Heck, I brush my teeth with this stuff.... not this product in general, but I've been searching for the perfect "dealer", that is for certain! Right now, i'm giving it a 4 out of 5. Five stars will mean it actually works, the rest of the components are controlled, yet I have NO DOUBT this product will rid the evil stank from my husbands shoe bin, truck, closet.... other places my imagination takes me. When these arrived in the mail my first thought was that these would be perfect for my clothing drawers! I didn't expect that. They do fit perfectly into our shoes (women's size 9) and I bought them specifically for my husband's work boots which while only a few months old still made me seriously consider throwing them out they smelled so bad. The good thing is that this package came with so many that I was able to put them to use in multiple locations. The reason why I thought they would be better in my clothing drawers is because they are so slender and long, perfect to slide into that unused space between stacks of shirts or in the space between the front or side of the drawer and the clothes. Others I've seen used in drawers are bags and don't really fit anywhere well and just get in the way. The only drawback of using these in shoes is the convenience factor. Every time my husband puts on or takes off his shoes he has to remember to remove or replace these. Inconvenient for him, worth it to me. I can picture if you owned a shoe rack where the shoes sat upside down on top of prongs, you could ziptie the charcoal bag to the prong and never have to think about it. That's not our situation, so it just takes more thought to use the product correctly. I've never purchased a charcoal air freshener and I found myself constantly holding it up to my nose expecting it to off-put a pleasant smell like fragrant/perfumed air fresheners. It doesn't...which is exactly as advertised. It'll take some getting used to for me to realize that I'm not looking for a 'nice' smell, I'm actually hoping for no smell at all. So far our mud room which is shut up and musty hasn't blasted me in the face with sour sock smell in the past 3 days. I like that. If it lasts as long as it claims to, and does indeed recharge, then I would say it's certainly a good value and investment. *I received this product as a trial for a reduced price.

Easy to exchange on multiple shoes as they are worn. My closet does not have an odor anymore.

So far they are working great. Some of the drawers had been closed up and were quite musty and it’s taking a little time but this product is clearing out the smell.

Work best if your shoes aren't already beyond help, but will take care of those as well given enough time. I place them in all of our shoes that we wear regularly.

Did not find these effective. Pegasus because tried using them in shoes that already had a strong odor.

Great product at a very reasonable price. I like the larger pack, I put multiple in my work boots and they keep them odor free. Smaller company with excellent customer service. Exactly the kind of company I want to do business with.
