Update from 3 to 5 stars. Theyre bright LEDs which is what i was looking for. Did stumble across an issue but customer support was swift to help me with my issues. Definetly recommend these lights if youre looking for bright interior LEDs

So let me start off that I am actually a OPT 7 fan but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with this purchase. The lights turned on fine once they were installed, the brightness was good considering I bought the double led version, and the installation process was pretty easy to figure out. All in all It took me about 45 minutes to an hour to get it installed which wasn't terrible either. Now the reason why I am giving 3 stars is because of the app. There's a bunch of different modes in the app, including rhythm mode (music mode that comes with 3 different options), scenes (which are premade color modes), and then your basic color palette where you can select the color you want displayed. I bought this product primarily for the music mode. In previous OPT 7 Led light strip models I bought 5 years ago, you could select the color you want displayed and then make that same color dance to music, fade, blink, and etc. Considering this LED light strip was being advertised as fully customizable, I was disappointed to find out theres no option to make a single color fade, blink, or anything. It's just stays on as a solid color with no animation or anything. And with the scenes mode, everything is a preset. There's no option for you to create your own scenes or group of colors. Now on the other hand, you can select the rhythm/music mode which does cycle through the entire RGB spectrum, but again theres no option to make the led lights dance to one single color, or specific select few colors. I would've liked to have the option to choose the colors I wanted or to make one color dance, but It's either the entire rainbow or nothing. In addition, the rhythm/music mode crashes whenever you try to sync the audio specifically with the music on your phone, and the device microphone doesn't pick up sounds well to the point it feels like the music doesn't really dance to the music, It just flashes to any random frequencies it picks up. Now If you're not purchasing this led light strips for the music mode or to customize your own colors in depth, then I think this product would be a great fit for you. But for me personally, because I bought it for the music synchronization, I will be returning this as I was hoping to have more control over the music and color options.

I wish I could have given it minus stars. These are garbage . Your better off buying a set for 2.00 . the brightness and color are terrible , they are neither bright or vibrant just washed out colors. Definitely don’t waste your money.
