Tastes like the ajika my grandma used to make
The taste and smell reminds me of my childhood. There’s a lot of products out there that are labeled ajika but this is the type that I grew up with. I used it to marinate chicken and mixed it with butter to spread on toast. Just keep in mind that it’s saltier than regular pepper paste.

Spicy and rich sauce makes a culinary debut
The jar which looked attractive arrived promptly and was well packaged. The inspiration for Ajika, we are told, hails from the North West Caucasus so even when it says medium on the jar one must expect a wild intensity of flavour. We all know what chilli tastes like and likewise this sauce can be adjusted to taste and a little goes a long way. So I have used very little and mixed it with a couple of tablespoons of vegetable stock to give my ratatouille a shot in the arm. I also diluted it with with chicken stock and used it with yogurt and tomatoe purée in a Turkish recipe. It gave the dish a depth of flavour that I greatly enjoyed.I can only recommend it thoroughly.

Very good
A very nice taste, perhaps a bit too much salt, but reminds me of a proper Ajika not tomato sauce replacements you can buy in local shops in UK. The only thing is that it's quite pricey for such a small amount of ajika.

Excellent product!! Really versatile!
I have really enjoyed using this paste and the others available in the range. I have literally used it in everything from pork chops to omelettes to turning it into a salad dressing. I now make sure I have plenty in stock so that I can rely on it when making any foods. I would encourage anyone to try it and follow some of the recipe tips!!! Thanks Paul

Delicious and addictive
Ab fab ! Tried this as it was different. All I can say is that it's addictive and difficult to resist adding it to the plate.

Excellent Authentic Flavour
This is a delicious iteration of a traditional Caucasian ingredient. It tastes great and very true to the Georgian Ajika that I've tasted. Although the pot is fairly small, a little goes a long way.The first pot I received had been damaged in transit but customer service were very helpful - quick to respond and send a replacement.I'd recommend both the company and product.

Very high quality seasoning.

Authentic taste but too pricey
Excellent authentic taste which I can confirm being a Georgian myself. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it feels slightly overpriced as the jar is miniscule. If I was to but it in Georgia, I would have paid less than £2.
