This works great for starting my smoker fire box. I can layer charcoal and wood and then light within 5 to 10 minutes. The fire burns evenly, and maintains heat at 250 for up to 6 hours without stoking the coals.

It’s an okay product. It arrived with a dent and doesn’t work as well as I had hoped. Trigger doesn’t lock which requires you to hold the trigger down the whole time.

I tried this on wood and charcoil and works great on both. It does not turn on fire in 30 seconds but rather 60 seconds...but its still super fast. I love the fact that I am starting fire with no chemicals.

I wish I had found this a long time ago. This thing is awesome. The grill is ready to use in no time. It works much better than I expected.
