Snap Circuits Skill Builder: Coding - Making Coding a Snap | Arduino Compatible | Perfect Introduction to Arduino Coding | Great Stem Product

This is a great commbination of Arduino and my many Snap Circuit kits. My only complaint is that there are not more of the digital outputs broken out into stnaps. This is over come by the Snap to pin Jumper wires but I think they could have stood the board up on the 10 snap piece and got more snaps out. With that said the draw back of less Snap output was not enough to make me rate this anythign less than 5 Stars.I have built a much better robot than I was ever able to make with the old PicAx chips that came with the older programming set of Snap Circuits. They also made the Snapino piece out of an Arduino Uno so you can easily use regular shield boards. I used a USB shield to control a serial device and that was pretty cool.This will take anyone who loves the Snap circuits into the next Generation and beyond.

Well thought out kit. It contains annArduino Uno clone, so it can be used for a lot of things beyond the included projects.The materials provide good basic description of the circuits and coding.Great Stem gift for a ten year old, but usable by anyone, since it has access to the connection header on the Arduino, a battery pack, and everything you need for coding.

Purchased as a gift for my nephew for Christmas. He hasn’t opened it yet but I’m sure he will love it. He wants to do coding when he is older so this gift will be perfect for him!

My 10 y/o grandson has 2 or 3 other Snap Circuit kits and love them. He’s learned so much, made so many projects. This looked pretty exiting for him. Apparently the software is out of date and it won’t work. My daughter has contacted the company but the software links they gave do not make it work. Very disappointing.
