My cousin had a black color version and it was wireless. Didn't like it much then but it fit the budget. I was so wrong. This is a very high quality controller. Is a pleasure to hold and game on it. Vibrations motors feel nice, not Playstation level smooth but fairly there. There are 2 things I especially liked about it. The white color look, and feel of the texture of the plastic is really really good. Second is they give a plastic case which holds both your controller n dongle in one place. In terms of range, I have no issues at 7 to 8 feet of distance. Charge capacity is simply great! You can charge on phone charger while you play wirelessly as well. What it doesn't have is any real led lighting on the gamepad other than the home button. But that's good enough for me.
