This is a great item to give to young children interested in learning about insects. It is made well. All in all this is an excellent learning kit to study bugs close up. Teaching children that just because a bug might be ugly is no reason to be afraid of it or kill it.You do have to teach the children to place the bugs at the back before closing the door so the bug trying to escape is not crushed by the door. Also the tweezers (pinchers) should be done away with as they do not work. Children do not know much about 'gentle pressure' and kill the bugs with them 100% of the time.Excellent item!

Got for my grandson and he loves it, said he caught a few bugs already !

My kid loves it, she's playing with it outside right now.She loves to catch grasshoppers and whatever little bugs she can find.I will say, as a parent, I absolutely love the B line of toys. They're always really well made and sturdy toys. My 9YO son had just about all the musical instruments as a young boy. He had the Dog Guitar, the Cat Keyboard and the Frog Drums. He had the Big base drum with all the instruments inside it. He even had one of the Nylon pop up fort things. I will always buy this brand of toy if I can, they're affordable and very well made. This is the Main line of Toys that Target carries.We've had so many of this brands toys over the years. Great toys.

My 3 year old nephew loves catching fireflies and he uses the cup to hold them so he can watch them glow. It’s been so much fun watching him as he exams them with the magnifying glass. I never get tired of him saying “WOW”. This was a great summertime gift for the inquisitive mind of a toddler. This is great for girls who love bugs too!

This holds the crickets that I feed my bearded dragon perfectly. At feeding time, I just tilt the keeper, slide open the door a little and shake them out.
