VitaCup Low Acid instant coffee is perfect! I love LOVE it! Rich coffee taste -and -most importantly, no pain or stomach upset. In the last year or so I’d found I was unable to tolerate coffee, my favorite life-long morning beverage. SO - I tried coffee alternatives (some made with mushrooms!) but found they lacked the real coffee taste I wanted. AND THEN … I found VitaCup. It’s real coffee (instant), deliciously dark roasted taste. So good! My selection is not caffeine-free; there’s a health reason why I need the caffeine, as well as enjoying the morning ”lift.” Cheers for VitaCup!

There is still a signifcant bitter after taste... I use twice-purified water and pure organic coconut creamer. I only use the creamer to soften that bitter after-taste otherwise I cannot drink it as I would like to, without the creamer. I am using about 6 to 8 ounces of water. Perhaps I should use more water say 8 to 10 oz? I will finish drinking the purchase but may not order again.

Got this for my mom, she's become sensitive to acidity, so low acidity foods are a must. She loves it. Now she doesn't have to give up coffee. We all know how apocalyptic giving up coffee is.

This product does not smell, look, or even taste like coffee. And, so, I am unable to enjoy it as coffee. It smells more like tea, and barely even like tea. Its consistency out of the package is that of a very fine particled tea dust. The taste was barely there, and probably closer to the taste of a tea as opposed to a coffee. On the flip side, it was very smooth on the palate and, as promised, did not pain my tummy from acid. I think for non-coffee drinkers it could be an alternative, but coffee aficionados will likely not find it to be palatable at all. It is unsatisfying and extremely weak. The package and the packets inside looked like they had been used as a football- it must have happened in storage as opposed to shipping because it was shipped in a strong box with no damage. It had very obviously gone through some difficult times before it came my way. It was very smashed.

I was surprised when I found this product bc of the added antioxidants, figured I would try having a healthy cup of coffee for once..the taste was good , not cowboy strong but mild not acidic.. now I carry these in my purse , hand them out to friends when I find myself visiting with friends..very convenient when I feel like having a good cup of coffee no matter where I am .
