It is durable
My 4 year old grandson loves this transformer, had no problem transforming it, loves the spinning head and how the wings open up.

broke
It didn't last long. The legs kept coming off no matter how gentle they were played with. I guess they dont make them like they used to.

Quality fair
Instructions are visual and hard to follow. When transformed pieces do not easily lock into place to keep the shapes. Compared to original transformers this is subquality. Few steps so that is good. My husband had difficulty following some of the instructions -- how is a 6-year old to do it? Extremely light weight. Not sure if I would rebuy and definitely would not give as a gift.

Poor quality and design
I used to watch Transformers when I was a kid and I've had many Transformer toys. Now much older I got this one for my kid. There are a few big things that made me hate it.1) Cheap plastic. I know most toys nowadays use it, but this one is below average.2) It's hard to transform. I have experience with Transformers, it took a while to figure this one out.3) In its airplane mode it won't stay in place, if you move it a little bit some parts like the wings and legs will move too.4) The design doesn't make any sense. The cockpit in robot Starscream's front should become the airplane's cockpit, right? Well not for this toy, there's another cockpit in the robot's back that becomes the plane's cockpit and the front one ends up underneath. What the heck? You can even clearly see Starscream's head between the legs when it's in airplane mode.Well, now you know why it's so cheap.

More cheaply made than previous years.
It's what my son wanted, but more cheaply made then the ones he had a few years ago. He does love it though.

Okay product
Good product but because of the action feature it is likely to always turn towards one side and is frustrating for little kids but good product for big kids
