New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X More V5

I’ve tried countless walking shoes over the years, but the New Balance Fresh Foam X More V5 absolutely stands out. From the moment I slipped them on, the fit was spot-on—secure without being tight, and roomy where it counts. The maximum cushioning is no joke: it feels like walking on memory foam that somehow knows exactly how to support each step. Whether I’m doing long city walks or just running errands, these shoes keep my feet fresh and fatigue-free. The sole absorbs impact beautifully, and the breathable upper keeps things cool even on warmer days. Honestly, they’ve become my go-to for walking, and I’d rank them among the best I’ve ever used. If comfort, support, and all-day wearability matter to you, these are a no-brainer.

I have a pair of the New Balance Fresh Foam V4 More shoes and they are great. But the V5’s are even better. Background story: I wanted to lose some weight by running on my treadmill and lifting some weights. But I developed plantar fasciitis (inflammation in my right foot) and I simply could not run at all. Then I bought the New Balance Fresh Foam V4 More shoes and they are so wonderfully cushioned I could run again! I lost 42 pounds (and my goal was only 20 pounds). The V4’s are great but they’re not perfect. Enter the New Balance Fresh Foam V5 More shoes!! Heaven. They are even more cushioned and more comfortable than the V4’s. The “tongue” doesn’t bunch up or move to the side like the V4’s tongue tends to do while running. And finally, the fit is perfect…almost like a custom shoe…at least for my feet. I have never had a more cushioned and comfortable shoe in my life! Honestly, the V4 changed my life and the V5 made my life even better. I have no clue how accurate my smart-scale is regarding how healthy I have become but it says I shaved seven years off my metabolic age. I would take that claim with a grain of salt. A few things that are absolutely true…I am far healthier than I was before, I actually enjoy running again, and my love handles have been sent to the blubber graveyard. Oh, one more thing….every time I see a woman from age 25 to 96….they invariably give me their phone number while simultaneously saying , “Nice shoes, Ramrod….and even nicer slim and trim body”! Okay, I made that last part up, but everything else in this review is 100% accurate!! Get the V5’s….especially, if you’re suffering from any type of manageable foot pain and still want to jog/run….or simply want a perfectly cushioned shoe. Side note: I have two relatives who have bought the V4’s and V5’s just for the cushioning. They use them exclusively as every day “around the house” and walking shoes ….and love them. Bottom line: The New Balance Fresh Foam V5 More is an absolutely great shoe!!

Very nice shoe, I am 6'1" around 230# and have sensitive feet always but especially at 68 years old, thank you New Balance they fit perfect and feel so good, like a slightly squishy mat under my feet! Please don't change a thing and I will buy these for the rest of my life. I just had an experience with Brooks Glycerin original I paid around 200. last year, a great shoe and they changed it with the new version that hurt my left foot arch.

Comfortable. Fits true to size. Bulkier than was expected. Not the coolest looking running shoe but it is Comfortable.

Perfect fit! I'm a men's 10.5 Wide (2E). If you're a wide size, order wide. Trying to just go up a half size did not work for me. I got the Brighton Grey/Calcium/Jade color. The ride is so good. I already killed my Hoka Clifton 9s, so I watched tons of reviews and tried this. Plush, plush, plush, but NOT too squishy. Perfect for nice easy runs, but the rocker helps me pick up the pace a bit when I want to. I'm a 5' 10" 198 lb neutral runner, getting back after some injury time off. The wide base of this neutral shoe provides stability, and the material quality is top notch. I've used them for a month so far, and I'm very happy. When I want to do tempo stuff, I have Endorphin Speed 4s, but this is my go-to for most runs.

Great fit, great support. I spend 13 to 16 hours per day working on concrete floors and these shoes help make that possible.

I own 2 pair of these and they may be my all-time favorite shoes. I had a hip resurfacing surgery done, last year, and these are both comfortable and can be challenging enough for me to walk long distances in while never leaving me feeling in pain. I own numerous zero drop, minimalist, wide toe box shoes which I’ve worn my entire life. I can’t say that wearing these soft shoes have had any negative impact on my stability, gait, or foot strength. I think where they truly shine is, for those who heel strike, the squishy sole absorbs and dissipates impact. Here’s a little tip: If you like the color way, get the comparable women’s size and you might save money. The gender is imaginary— it’s the same shoe.

Wearing these shoes feels like walking on stilts. The sole at the heel is so high I feel like I’m falling off of them. While they’re quite comfortable, the heel is very high. I really want to like them. Trying to use them as my goto workout shoes. I feel too unstable in them. I’ll keep trying.

Muy muy cómodos!! Sin duda una talla más a tu número habitual es un gran acierto. No son para nada pesados pese a su aspecto y excelentes para caminar con buen amortiguamiento. Sin embargo esta reseña va mayormente encaminada a la excelente atención de todos y cada uno de los empleados de Amazon. Y lo digo porque se pusieron su empeño en que el artículo llegará antes de la Navidad, toda vez que estaba prevista la entrega pasada dos días de esa fecha; y estoy seguro que no fui el único que Amazon nos saco una sonrisa porque no esperaba esa entrega tan rápida y sobre todo en esta época del año.
