Have had 3 of these for a few weeks now. Really impressed for the cost. I've had a few other brands that cost a lot more, and none of them had the full feature set like these do. Picture is clear and bright. Set up was quick and easy. Even connected them to my desktop PC using a free ONVIF app. Slapped a 512GB SD card into each of them, got over 2 weeks of archive footage and still not full. Zero connection issues (I have a quality router, not the crap your ISP gave/sold you). Notifications are a bit hit or miss. Sometimes will tag a cat or deer (yes, there are deer roaming around my town). But it can also tag someone who is half a block away walking towards my house. I used an outlet light socket adapter to plug them in. They have a bright light on them already that you can have off, on when they detect something, or on whenever it's dark. No need for more light bulbs. Just make sure you do something to make sure you don't accidentally turn off that light switch 😉. The Canny Cam app is very robust with TONS of options and features. Very nice indeed. All things considered, I can't recommend these enough! Phenomenal cameras! Excellent app. And top notch customer service (I had to ask a question about some settings, they got back to me quickly and with the info I needed). If you're looking for a quality camera that won't break the bank, look no further. Edit: a 512GB SD card holds over 2 months of constant recording. And with the recent updates to the Canny Cam app, you need to re-boot the app occasionally due to connection issues. It's a recent issue. I expect it'll be fixed soon.

This VIMTAG 2.5K outdoor camera is amazing. The video quality is very clear, and the night vision works extremely well, even in low‑light conditions. Installation was easy, and the app is simple to use. I really love the human tracking feature, it works accurately and adds a lot of value for security. The 360° view provides great coverage with no blind spots. While the power cord is permanently attached, it hasn’t been an issue for me and doesn’t take away from how well the camera performs. Overall, this is a great camera with excellent features and performance.

Review: I bought this camera to keep an eye on my home, and honestly it exceeded my expectations. The 2.5K resolution is very clear, and the image quality both during the day and at night is impressive. I can see details very easily, which makes me feel more secure. Another feature I really like is the 360° view and motion tracking, because the camera automatically follows movement and lets me see everything around the area. The two-way audio is also very useful when I want to speak through the camera. The setup was simple and the app works well on my phone. I also appreciate that it sends motion alerts, so I always know if something is happening. Overall, it’s a great camera for the price and works perfectly for monitoring my home. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Comparing this with the 5 other cams I’ve owned/tried at this price-point, this is the second best. The picture is immaculate day or night. Clear, crisp, vibrant. It blows every other cam out of the water. It has a storage-optimization setting that gives me over ten days of footage on a 64gb micro. The recordings are kept in 30 minute files in the SD-recordings section of the app. There is no way to rewind a live-feed. You are forced to go into the recordings to see anything that happened prior. So, on my fave cam I can pick up the live and go back a minute, 5 minutes, an hour, 3 days, any unit of time. That is impossible with this cam; you have no choice but to go into the recordings, which will include the current recording of your live-feed and of course the prior 10+ days I mentioned. Sometimes it loads slow. I own two of the cams and while the app opens quickly, getting a cam to give you a live-feed often takes 10 seconds or even longer. Even beyond that, when staying in the app and going from livecam to livecam, or from recorded footage back to livecam, there will often be a delay. The mic works PTT, which is pretty much to be expected, whereas my go-to cam supports open-line conversing. This review may seem critical for 4-stars, but to me the camera’s drawbacks are minor, and most importantly, it was a whole lot better than all but one of the other cams. (I record continuously, so I can’t comment on the motion detection.)

The Vimtag 847 is a solid, high-quality security camera that impressed me right out of the box. The video clarity is excellent, and the pan/tilt control is smooth and responsive. Setup through the Vimtag app was quick and easy, but what really stood out was how well it integrates with other systems. I connected it directly to my iSeeu NVR, and it worked flawlessly after entering the correct credentials. The camera supports ONVIF and RTSP, which made it incredibly flexible and compatible with my existing network. The stream is stable, and the night vision is sharp enough to clearly capture details even in low light. Motion detection is accurate, and remote access through the app works without lag or hiccups. It feels like a premium camera without the premium price tag. If you’re looking for a reliable, feature-rich camera that plays well with NVR setups, this is definitely one to consider.
