Initially I had concerns about its construction and whether it could hold up to strong winds/rain. But recently I used it through a pretty windy storm and it did great! It's a little on the smaller side so cramming two people under it might be a stretch. But keeping this in the car for those unexpected spring time showers is perfect! Review: overall, a good umbrella - Quite the snap when opening up - don't stand too close to anyone or anything when opening. First time I used this umbrella and it popped open, I told my husband I felt like it was a weapon in a James Bond movie :) Nice size, closes down well. I wish the push button also closed it, but you have to push it with your hand from the top towards the handle to close it. Getting it back in the little bag/holder can be cumbersome, but it is a nice to have for storage. The fabric is not too thin as some umbrellas can be - it's a nice weight.

Effective & attractive
It's been a dry April where I am, and I've only had one chance to try out this umbrella, but it worked great. Opens/closes easily and seems sturdy. The wind wasn't much the day I used it so I cannot comment on how windproof it is. I like the bright blue outside & while I don't think it is rated for SPF, the black interior means it should block a good deal of sun/UV if I use it on hotter days (as I sometimes am wont to do!). It is a little bulky when you close it up & wrap the tie around it, but not overly large. Shrinks down a bit when you put the sheath over it. Overall, quite pleased with this umbrella.

it's a decent umbrella
This was as expected, which is to say that I wasnt disappointed by anything. Maybe umbrellas should be more exciting, like a disco light-show inside when you open it. The mechanism works and the umbrella deploys in a mechanically confident and solid way. The fabric is black inside and blue (or your chosen color) on the outside. There was a bit of a smell - which was unexpected - but it was sealed in plastic so it just needs to air out. It's fine. I might get another.

Basic but durable!
This umbrella does what it is supposed to do. It is made of durable fabric and durable plastic material. The button to open the umbrella is smooth and does its job. In terms of ease of use, you can easily open with one hand, which is important, although closing it takes both hands and a little bit of effort. You have to make one final tug to make the button click and secure the closing position. The umbrella is a compact size and lightweight. I like the color combo - blue on the outside, black on the inside. I have not tried it in heavy winds, but I can't imagine that it will hold up to strong winds, but the frame is strong enough that it should resist normal wind conditions.

Great umbrella but not a mini
This is the second umbrella I’ve ordered from this brand and they are good quality. It’s easy to put up and down, is pretty sturdy in some heavier wind and is nice and dark when you want protection from the sun. The only reason I reason I gave 4, instead of five, stars is because I would not really classifying it as mini. It is on the more compact side, but I was really looking for one of those tiny ones that would fit in a small crossbody bag, and this does not. Otherwise, it’s a great little umbrella so my husband keeps it in his car

Strong enough for Texas
This is a typical umbrella in size, shape and purpose. It's a bit heavier duty in terms of the frame, so I think this will work way better in the Texas storm / wind / rain that we get here. I ordered it because the umbrella I keep in my vehicle for emergencies absolutely whipped inside out and totally broke. We had to walk home from where the car broke down, in a thunderstorm, and were absolutely soaked. So this is the replacement and It seems way heavy duty in comparison.

Seems durable and nice for travel
Seems to hold up well. Appreciate the travel size. I had a similar style but it wasn't too durable. Will see how long this one lasts
