What carrier does this work with? it's not working with any that i've tried!

If you are in the US, make sure you have the North America variant. I'm currently using mine with T-Mobile and it covers all the LTE bands they use. If, for some reason, you were send the European model, it'll be very difficult to find a carrier here. Also, AT&T should work with it.

Will this phone work with Amazon apps?

Yes. The Amazon shopping app works, Kindle, Music, Prime Video as well as the Amazon App Store .APK (for downloading older apps).

Which language does it support? can i add other languages like spanish and japanese on the keyboard?

It comes with GBoard keyboard by default. In the GBoard settings, I saw tons of languages including Spanish and Japanese. I installed Spanish to test it and it worked just fine. I also tried it with Microsoft SwiftKey and I was also able to add languages for that keyboard.
