NeilMedSinugator Cordless Pulsating Nasal Wash with 30 Premixed Packets

I have seasonal allergies and live in AZ where it's incredibly dry. To put it mildly, I have a lot of nasal issues. My nasal passages are alternate between being stuffy or insanely dry. I've tried several other methods like a Neti Pot and the squeeze bottle made by Neilmed and didn't get the relief I needed. The disadvantages of the squeeze bottle for me is that I have arthritis in my hands, so squeezing the bottle is a pain at times. Plus, I could never get all the liquid out of the bottle and felt like I was wasting it. This cordless irrigation system is perfect. Pop in the batteries, warm up some distilled water, add a saline packet and relief is on the way. I make a point of using this every morning and every evening before bed. I am rarely congested and my nasal passage are not dry any longer. I wish I had found this product years ago. I'm a convert!

Bought again after having one for a couple of years. Loved it, but it finally stopped working. This is so much easier than other types I have had in the past. And more convenient to use than that rediculous looking machine advertised on TV right now. I clean it thoroughly after every use, and hope to get a few years out of this one.

Very effective! Just don't drop it. The material it is made of is not very impact resistant. I have used this product for many years and it works very well. I am on my fifth one in 12 years and only one quit working after several years. I dropped the other four and none of them bounced.

After recovering from Covid-19, I began to feel swelling - beginning with my sinuses - all over my face. After seeing my ENT, he suggested that one of the things I should do is to use the NielMed sinus rinse bottle once a day every day until further notice. That was back in July 2020. In October of the same year, I began looking for a more logical method for performing the rinses. I went with this device because of the NielMed name. The device works as advertised, but like everything else it has it's pro's and con's.PRO'S:It has a 'pulsating' effect, which helps to better rinse your sinuses.It has two different settings (slow/faster) available for use.I've yet to have a need to replace the batteries since I began using it over two months ago - indicating a good battery life.CON'S:It is messy when in use. Be sure to use it over a sink that is larger than 2 1/2 feet otherwise you'll be mopping your floor everyday.This device will only work for adults. Anyone under the age of 12 years old would likely need to stick with the plastic bottle version.I've heard people complain that this device stops working after a month. I've not experienced that, but I can see how some might. The saline mix does have the ability of 'clogging' the device - if you don't wash it immediately after use! I wash mine thoroughly immediately after every use. This will allow for me to use it for some time before there's a need to replace it. Even letting it sit for 15 or more minutes after use could allow for the leftover saline mix in the device (after use) to settle - which you don't want to happen.Overall, I like the device. I would like to see them make one similar to another brand where you have an in/out methodology. Keep it clean, read and follow the instructions and you should have no problems with it.

The unit works great, but the bottom section where it screws into the top section, disintegrated in less than a month. I noticed blue pieces of plastic flaking off into the sink as I approached week 4 of use (not daily use). I thought the pieces that were falling off might have been excess pieces of plastic, at first, but then I noticed when I shook the device, to mix the saline solution, water started spilling out between where the two sections connect when they're twisted together. Upon further inspection I noticed there are 3 protruding pieces of plastic on the blue section where it screws into the white section. Those blue pieces are meant to give it a nice snug fit to the white section. Well, one of the blue pieces literally... disintegrated. There's no other way for me to put it. Piece by piece until it was gone. Then the seal between the two pieces was no longer viable, and within 3 days of me being overly careful with the unit, the blue section fell off/away from the white section, completely, during use. They can no longer be screwed into each other and hold together.I used only bottled water. I never over screwed the sections, or screwed them in too tight. I consider my use of the unit to be quite gentle. And I didn't use the unit every single day. So why it has fallen apart is a mystery to me, and that's why I'm writing this review. Before it fell apart I had nothing but wonderful things to say about it and I actually suggested it to numerous friends suffering from nasal allergies. But now I need to add this little warning about how the 2 pieces screw together and how they fall apart.

I've had trouble for several years with interrupted sleep from choking and some snoring, post nasal drip and waking up several times during the night and trying to get back to sleep would be difficult. I went to the hospital for a sleep study to see if I had sleep apnea, however that wasn't the problem. You would think the hospital would tell me to try something like this. The very first time I used this device and the saline solution, I slept like a baby. I've been using it for about a week now and can definitely say it's a life-changing device. If you are having similar problems I highly recommend this device, for the price it's definitely worth a try.

My sinuses are grateful!!! I haven't had a sinus infection since I bought this product, in fact I recently bought my second one and am going to buy one for a friend with similar issues. This really breaks up the worst congestion. I usually use it in the shower but if I am having a lot of congestion problems I bring it to work with me and I also use it standing at the sink works great, I'll never be without one! I have found loose salt at health food stores that cost much less than the packets. The packets are convenient for travel, but the cost can add up if you use it daily or even twice a day or if multiple family members use this.

Convenient, Easy to use, and stands up so it doesn't take up a lot of real estate on the vanity or in the medicine cabinet.

Excellent product, but unfortunately I have received 2 of 6 that I bought, the blue tank were broken.

I don’t really do reviews but I really felt I had to write about this. I have been completely blocked up solid for several weeks. I’ve tried pretty much everything else you can buy on Amazon to help with my sinus infection. This was a game changer. I’m not sure why it works so well, perhaps it’s the pulsating nature that really unclogs the tough stuff (you know what I mean if you’re suffering like me). This thing really works and has cleared me out. I recommend if you’ve tried everything else and are continuing to suffer. Good luck. Feel better. It’s miserable being blocked up.

First one ordered never turned up - sent a new new one for free and that failed to operate and in the bin it went

i'm a first time user, i used around 10 times till now, i felt my breathing as become so easy and felt relaxed amazing product.best part is i have stopped using nasal spray during night.********UPDATE********Stopped working after 1 month,later some how i managed to open it for checking the problem, initially i though it was motor problem but it was copper connector clogged with salt deposits .it started working again after cleaning.later again after 1 month it stopped again and after cleaning the connectors it started working again.product has a great idea, but quality of the product is not up to the mark even i used there saline packets it forms salt deposits.we will check how long the motor lasts.
