I got this brush because I wanted something wide and sturdy for my naturally coarse, long hair. I also got the Tymo Ring straightener but it dries my hair out some when I use it. This brush helps to keep my hair's natural oil, soft, and manageable feel when I use it after the straightener, and with daily brushing before styling my hair. I have the square Conair Salon Detangling Brush for when I skip the straightening altogether. Both brushes work great. They are sturdy and comfortable brushes for daily use. The price was awesome. I have been using Conair products for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. Yes, I would recommend them for gifts.

My fiancé and daughter loves theirs! They use it everyday and it’s still in perfect condition! Worth buying for a gift! They said it’s comfortable when they brush their hair.

Really big and nice brush

I've been using their brushes since the 1970s and they're as good now as they were then, which is great. Eventually the rubber inset with the metal pins won't stay in anymore, so I buy a new one.

I thought, "Good price and how can you mess up a brush?!" But it has a really hard time going through my hair. It hurts more than most hairbrushes.

Love it. I have love thick hair and this brush went through my hair light I had not one tangle, yea I'm over exaggerating a little, but it is amazing.
