this was an inexpensive way to add stability for going up and down the steps to our travel trailer--the price was very good and the quality seems pretty good, it installed very fast and easy--make sure you put the screws into a stud and don't strip them! the handle locks in place easily and unlocks with a firm upward push I am pretty happy with the grab bar and I would definitely buy again if I need too!!

Dimensions : Handle 19 in height, width is 9 inches not including the mount brackets. With the mount brackets . The overall height is 22 inches. And over all width is 11 and 3/4 inches. Inside to inside mounting brackets are 15 and 1/2 inches. Outside to outside mounting brackets are 20 and 1/2 inches. It's strong and durable. Works smooth. Very easy to replace. The screws are strong. If you you flip it upside down it can be versatile. Hope this was helpful stay strong stay encouraged and Jesus loves you greatly!

Mounting brackets are plastic and the screws are cheap and easily strip out.

If you're buying one of these, you probably already know that the mechanism can rust to the point where the spring and screw seize up.

The stock handle was terrible, only works when getting in the RV, not when leaving the RV. This fold-away handle solves that issue. Especially for kids. Install is easy, nerve racking of course since you have to drill into the RV. Used a stud finder on the inside of the RV to make sure you are actually drilling into wood and not just the siding. Also, make sure you put silicone or sealant in the holes and on the screws when you install it. Other than that, no issues and works great. Also, there was a video on youtube showing that if you are inside the RV and someone walks by and closes the handle, it would technically push open from the inside. Just something I found that might be useful for someone's curiosity.

We've got a 17' Hybrid camper and tradition handles are just too big. This is the perfect size for a smaller unit. Easy to install, easier to fold up/open up, and use.

Easy install, attached this new grab handle to the travel trailer. Better than the original handle that came equipped on the trailer. I also like how the handle can be folded, back when not in use.
