Borla140052 Cat-Back Exhaust System

This is by far the most popular exhaust for 03-04 Cobras. I am using it with a Bassani O/R X-Pipe and the sound is incredible. Extremely loud but clean.Please note that the mating point for this catback is NOT 2.5" like the rest of the system. It reduces to 2.25" because the goofballs at Borla think most people use this with a stock midpipe. I bought a few feet of 2.5" stainless tube and cut off the 2.25" part of the Borla system and clamped on the 2.5" tube. An exhaust shop will have to do this for you because you need to flare the ends of the new pieces.

My car is a 1999 Cobra:Borla makes a quality product. This is my 2nd Borla cat-back exhaust. My Mustang went from sounding "mostly OK" to sounding like a muscle car should sound. It does not droan or bother you in any way when cruising but when you give it some gas it sounds GR8.

This kit was exactly what I was looking for. Also known as "Stingers" for the aggressive tone, they provide a nice deep sound to my vehicle without being too loud and obnoxious. Definitely recommend for someone looking for a quality exhaust kit that's simple to install and high quality. Took 45 Mins to install with two people in my garage.

Wow! What a great sounding catback! My Cobra really woke up with a pair of stingers on it. Great product and would recommend it!!

Got burble?The sound is music to a gearhead's ears. Mellow yet loud. A beautiful burble on the over-run. Not raspy like some systems.OK for driver and front passenger. Rear seat passengers may need earplugs if they can't take the volume.At certain steady RPM's there can be an extremely loud harmonic drone affect that is easy to avoid.
