These things are bomb! The flavor is sooo good and it has the perfect amount of spice. It definitely has a kick but it’s not so spicy that you can’t enjoy it. The heat kind of builds as you eat it which I actually love. The jerky itself is thick and has a really good texture. It’s chewy but not so tough that I feel like I’m fighting for my life trying to eat it. The smoky beef flavor with the spicy seasoning goes together really well. This would honestly be perfect for snacking on while studying or on a road trip or basically anytime I’m hungry and need something quick. My only complaint is that it’s way too easy to keep eating because I definitely told myself I was only going to have a few pieces and then suddenly half the bag was gone Definitely recommend if you like your beef jerky with a little heat! I’d definitely buy this again.

I've been so disappointed in most of the jerky made today. Most of it is very mushy and sweet. This Old Trapper Spicy is firm, spicy enough, had great flavor and is very reasonably priced. This isn't one of those tiny bags that leaves you feeling ripped off. This is definitely on my favorites list.

These are great but they keep raising the price. Gets any higher and ill just buy the real jerky instead of the pressed left overs. I like the spicey ones. Have the right amount of heat.

This has served my Scouts well on their summer camping trips. I think it could be less sweet though. It's not as sweet as some jerky brands, but I don't like jerky being sweet. However my kid says "It's great and addictive."
