Samsung 65-Inch Class OLED S90F 4K Smart TV (2025 Model) NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor Upscaling Pro HDR +, Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, Vision Alexa Built-in

I’ve had the Samsung S90F for about a week now, and it’s easily the best TV I’ve ever owned. The OLED panel is incredible, delivering perfect blacks and amazing contrast that make movies and games look stunning, especially in a dark room. At the same time, it’s surprisingly bright, so colors still pop and the picture stays vibrant even in a fully sunlit room during the day. I paired it with a Samsung soundbar and subwoofer, which definitely enhance the experience, but I was genuinely impressed by the TV’s built-in speakers. They’re clear, full, and more than capable for everyday viewing if you don’t have a separate audio system. Overall, the S90F has exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re watching movies, gaming, or streaming sports, the picture quality is outstanding and the TV performs exceptionally well in both bright and dark environments. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Great picture. I was concerned that qd-oled might reveal brownish blacks when compared to w-oled, but it doesn't appear to be any different than the LG C4 it replaced. It looks brighter to me but my LG is older now, so check the specs. It's very bright in standard mode though. I will never accept a matte screen again, but reflections are obvious in brighter rooms with darker content. Project Hail Mary might benefit from curtains. Tizen interface operates almost identically to the LG C4 WebOS which I despise. The settings menus are simpler and it doesn't have the gimmicky inertial mouse nonsense, so it's better in those respects. (Roku killed it with theirs and no other OS/remote combo will ever make me happy.) The solar/rechargeable remote is great. I did like having the number buttons on the clunky cheap feeling remote from LG, but the rapid scroll features on tizen make this a non-issue. I cannot imagine what more you could get for double the money. Just a gorgeous picture. Love it.

I’m totally satisfied with my new Samsung QN65S90F. I investigated calibration settings and found that the TV was almost spot-on to my liking. To get the best results you must set both SDR and HDR separately when viewing each format. I was surprised by the “thinness” of the screen in relation to previous Samsung models I’ve owned. Handle with care when moving it around since the screen is not very rigid. There is a small bezel that is not visible when powered off. Everything is flush to the screen. I’ve been impressed by the video quality and flesh tones are very natural looking. The UHD picture really shines whether watching streaming apps or 4K BluRays. I’ve had the TV for five days and I’m delighted with this purchase. Arrived in two days, surprisingly. See photos from YouTube.

Smart TV that is high definition. It replaced a 20 yr old high-end Sony XBR (which finally failed with a blown amplifier) and has greater clarity and color rendition, and has all the current smart features like internet connections, links, voice controls, etc. It seems TVs needs to be replaced every 5-6yrs or so due to the huge improvements.

This TV took me four hours to setup completely because the Samsung app was glitched on Android, something they haven't fixed in over a year. I was able to use Gemini to fix it by changing developer app settings on my phone, but I wasted a ton of time. Once I finally accessed the app, I discovered that Samsung had stripped out features of the app like the ability to display your photos on the TV, which they advertised for this television. This is a basic feature I had on my last TV which was a third of the price and Samsung is actively cutting the features. In addition, I noticed the volume for my sound bar has no number to it so I can't see what the volume level is without hearing it. I found out that Samsung does this on purpose to encourage you to buy their sound bar. This is truly terrible, dirtbagish behavior on Samsung's part. TVs from the 1980s and likely earlier had the ability to show the volume level. That Samsung has stripped the TV of that very basic feature for a money grab just shows how terrible of a company they are and how terrible the decision makers are in their company. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, Samsung. You're a bunch of pathetic losers. You've lost a customer forever with your despicable behavior and hopefully some more thanks to this review. Don't buy this TV.

Samsung did it again,this unit is perfect. The color is amazing,the sound is perfect and it was easy set up.

I was waiting for this 65-in model to go on sale, I missed the spectacular 4th of July pricing but then it dropped down to a reasonable price and I pulled the trigger. I primarily use this set for gaming, coming from the LG OLED lines, I can clearly confirm the color on the Samsung qd LEDs are spectacular. I burned in the set for 26 hours and it performed flawlessly. My motto also had no issues with panel quality or dirty screen. For gaming it has been terrific, they have a game bar configuration packed full of customization options. The glare off the set is also manageable, since I game in a low light room and I can control the light,. So far it's a high recommendation

On the picture quality alone, I'd give this tv a 4.95 out of 5 stars. I find that on some of what I watch, the brights are too stark compared with the black. I've tried adjusting the contrast, but I don't see that making any change whatsoever. It's like it's broken. Lowering the brightness doesn't give me the effect I'm looking for and simply makes it dark. Perhaps I'm just not used to the ultra-black blacks. For things like sports and other brightly-lit shows, the image quality is amazing. Perhaps some of it has to do with the AI-upscaling. Still not sure how to control that, but as I understand it, it just always happens. I don't see it having much effect on lower resolutions like SD. That's actually something I was looking forward to, but it seems like it only makes the HD even higher HD. Oh well. I've got several issues with things apart from the picture quality. Tops on that list is the remote. Apparently the design team decided that remotes are ugly and no one wants it to be visible. So they made it as small as possible. It looks like a toy photon torpedo. In order to make it this small, they had to remove the vast majority of buttons. Those that remain are tiny with icons/text that are very difficult to read. Excuse me for not having teenager eyes. They put a small solar cell that is supposed to slowly keep a charge. I thought that was a great idea. Until I found that it's on the bottom of the remote. You know, the side that NEVER gets any light? Good thinking, that. I purchased a 3rd party remote on Amazon that is large and garish. And it does most of what I need with one visible button push. I find the on-screen controls rather non-intuitive. Getting to specific settings can be a real "Where's Waldo" experience. Is it under this section? No. Over there? No. I'm not a fan of how AI is draining our resources, but I don't know what I'd have done without the help it provided. A screen kept popping up that asked me if I'd like recommended ads. I kept saying "disable" and it kept popping up. I must have spent half an hour between AI and Reddit posts figuring out how permanently disable this. Apparently it used to be a lot easier, but Samsung keeps hiding the solution deeper and deeper into the settings hierarchy. But back on the good side of things, it was a pleasant surprise to see that the TV comes with a boatload of free TV shows. Probably nothing that you couldn't get via the various streaming apps, but these are bundled conveniently in one spot. I also like that it has a built-in picture-in-picture feature. Still figuring that one out. It seems like a long, convoluted process to get it set up, but perhaps once I'm familiar with the controls, it'll be easier. I don't expect to use it a ton, but it'll be handy when I'm watching one thing while waiting for the football game to get back from halftime. My wife and I each have bluetooth headphones that we've connected. Getting the multi-connect feature to work was a minor challenge, but it's a one-time process and now that this is running, it works great. There's enough of a delay in the sync that I can notice it, but it's usually worth it for the improved sound clarity. And perhaps this will improve with updates and newer headphones.
