I bought the microphone that would plug into the headphone jack of my acer chromebook. It did not work for me. I emailed the seller to ask for help because I'm not very tech savvy. They immediately sent me a usb microphone at no charge without asking me to return the other microphone. The chromebook recognizes the microphone, the audio is all the way up, and the microphone power light is on, but still no go. I bought it for video chats, but it is not working for me. Perhaps it's my chromebook. I would definitely do business with NEWHAODI again as their customer service is absolutely excellent. My guess is it's user error, and NEWHAODI has done everything possible to ensure a positive experience with them. I cannot say enough about their great customer service.

mic is well packaged. The instruction included is REALLY helpful, even fix the problem of my other input device ^_^. Mic is clear, it picks up the voice very well. I usually speak in low voice and it works great even in distance. Button: it is ON/ OFF, means like plug in / out. So you know what happens if u use a laptop. But I don't mind that, I used to mute on software on laptops.

The microphone works pretty well. For the price it's a pretty good microphone. If your expectations aren't un-realistic you'll like this microphone, it's a decent sized microphone. I've been using it for my softphone on my computer and I haven't had any issues. People on the other line have said it sounds normal with no issues.

This is THE WORST microphone I've ever used. Allow me to explain the Pros and Cons: Pros: - 0. No pros. Cons: - Does not pick up your voice unless you literally put your mouth on it and scream at it. I've cranked up all mic volumns on both my computer and laptop and yeah, this mic picks up almost nothing. - includes no instructions for the button. - You can never tell when the microphone is on or off. There's no LED or anything to indicate when it's working or not. So it's always a guess to whether it's working or not. I always have to manually open up my volume settings and test to see if it's even on. The button APPEARS to be a 1-push to turn on, 1-push to turn off but it picks up sound so poorly that I can barely tell. - Made of very cheap, light plastic. The very thin and light wire hanging off the desk is enough to pull the mic across the desk. The little nubs on the bottom appear to do nothing to make it stick. I had to stick it down with some double-stick tape to get it to stay. Over all, even though this mic was on the cheaper end, it's really not worth it. I would not pay 2 cents for this mic. Returning. NOTE: I guess there IS a possibility that I just received a broken/non-working microphone but it seems that the other reviews on this one tend to say some of the same things. So idk. I needed a decent quality but affordable USB mic to do voice over recordings for training videos for work. I was pleasantly surprised that this little mic did exactly what I needed. Decent quality sound so I didn't need to do a lot of adjustments for quality. No popping with P's and didn't pick up small background noises. I had no problems connecting it to my DAW (Audacity). I definitely recommend it for those looking for a good, USB mic, but not planning to do high-end recording (check out XLR cardiod mics for that type of work).

Much too light. Red button on support turns mic 'on' and 'off' but does not light up. I can tell if it turns 'on' or 'off' by sound in speaker. It works OK, but is easily knocked over. If I need another mic I will not by this one. Not recommended. I could not evaluate 'gaming', sound quality or voice recognition as I don't have the instruments to do that.

It is really hard to write a review about this mic because I don't talk to anyone except the computer's Cortana so I don't know how the sound quality really is although I can tell you it definitely works and Cortana can understand what I am saying with no problems or me having to constantly repeat myself. I had no problems 'installing' it, I simply plugged it into the mic port on the computer and it worked. The mic itself is lightweight, I wish the base was a little heavier so it don't get knocked over so easy or when adjusting the mic part up, the whole thing lifts off the desk but for the price, it can't be beat. I never had a mic before so I didn't have a clue what the little button on the base did and nowhere on or in the box is this explained that I saw, it is possible I just missed it but it is to mute the mic while the button is being pressed. This mic does exactly what I need it to do without spending a lot of money so I am very happy with my purchase.

This budget microphone is well suited for the price point. Although it doesn't provide the most incredible input and output compared to some other microphones, it meets my gaming needs. My previous microphone started to deteriorate, so this replacement resolved all the sound issues that I had. With that said, now that I've used it for over a week, I may prefer a 'taller' microphone that would have offered more 'height options'. Overall, I would recommend this to tight budget users that are looking for solid microphone.

Good material , good isolation

Love thaton n off switch makes it easy to go about your day and avoid ackward mishaps. Works great for computer gaming. Large and works from far.

Windows is not my prime OS but I wanted a mic to talk to the PC at times. The mic was easy to set up and use. I had to adjust the mic volume all the way to the top and then all worked fine. Cheap, but substantial enough and voice to text works fine. It’s fine for what it is, a budget mic.

Plugged it into a USB port on my Macbook Pro and switched my Zoom calls over to this Mic and now people can hear a lot better than the built in Mic. So far so good.

it did nit work . My brother in law knows all about these and he tested it and does not work
