you cannot make proper mash without one of these devices. it is worth the investment, feels strong and is sturdily builtI opted for this model because it has the little resting part jutting out that allows you to rest it on saucepan whilst you feed potatoes through it.michelin chefs use the exact same tool to make perfect mash in their restaurants.

I have tried a number of potato ricers. They always promise fluffy mash with no lumps. What you get is a break on the handle, because it is not robust enough to handle pushing potato through small holes. This one works well because the handle is robust and the mechanics seem to be strong as well. Nice finish - all in all, a very satisfactory productOh, and perfect mash every time!

Love it, had s couple of cheaper ones in the past but this is by far the best. Very sturdy sure it will last for a long time.Fiddly to wash but not impossible.

Brilliant gadget for lovely, fluffy mashed potato. The only downside is that it's a little on the heavy side if, like me, you're disabled. However, this can be got around by resting it, as it is manufactured to be, on the top of a saucepan/serving bowl. There is then no need to hold it, other than to squeeze it. I would highly recommend it.

Makes the fluffiest mash. Easy to use and very sturdy.
