finally! A decently weighted tape dispenser
Does the world really need another review of Amazon basic tape dispensers? Probably not BUT I found myself literally on a hunt for an adequate tape dispenser and I'm so pleased that the hunt is over!For years I used similar-looking tape dispensers from dollar tree. Unfortunately, that framed what I thought the right price was. Dollar Tree doesn't sell them anymore, as far as I can tell.Once my kids finally ruined the last dollar tree tape dispenser (which was weighted with sand held in place with foam stickers. Maybe not the best plan for long-term durability), I tried two other very affordable tape dispensers. One was super cute -- looked like a big Lego brick. Kinda worked, but the weight really matters. Without any heft, they are frustrating to use -- no better than the plastic tape dispensers that are one-time use.These have heft! I wish they had even more, but it's pretty good! I also really like the pull-out-on-the-side middle bit as I have lost the removable middle pins on other tape dispensers.Be aware these are also full of sand or some sort of rubble that shakes. That's ok as long as it stays inside. But I expect someday one will take a hard fall and we'll have to clean it up. I guess it's better than filling it with lead!

Good price. But could be improved.
Bought these for our business. And just about everything about them is fine and works great.The only complaint I have is that the padding on the bottom isn't very grippy. The dispenser has a tendency to slide when pulling on the tape, so you have to use both hands to get tape.Not a huge deal unless you're holding something down with the one hand and can't let go to get the tape.But. That small issue isn't enough to return them or not use them. They're still a good product of the price!

Will not lose the center part that hold the tape in.
The thing that sold me on ordering this tape dispenser is because the center part that goes inside the circle of the tape, does not come loose from the tape dispenser; and therefore the tape doesn’t pop out, and you cannot lose the Center part that holds the tape in !!

Great buy!
I go thru a lot of tape dispensers in my store, bee cause we are always wrapping & taping our merchandise we sell. These seem to hold up quite well to the daily tape cutting they endure. I love it that they came in a 3 pk for a good price. I have always bought scotch tape dispensers but these are just as good.
