These are dry pads (like you can buy in the store to remove makeup) - you have to also buy the eye lid solution to put on the pads in order for them to be effective. These are not the eye lid pads that come ready to use in their own individual wrapping. **Q: Are these pads similar to the square abrasive pre-moisten ones that are individually wrapped? What does lint free mean exactly anyway?** A: I get double my money by putting a dab on cleanser on each side and using one side per eye, even though the instructions say to use one pad per eye. I guess this wouldn't be a good idea if you had an active infection in one eye. I've tried other, cheaper alternatives and come back to these. No lint or little bits left behind to bother my eyes.
