I have been using a harbor freight 110 flux core welder for years with low quality results. I settled for it because it was the only thing available 10 years ago.. Nevertheless, it's held up pretty well.However, these mig and arc welders have become a dime a dozen on amazon these days... This welder does a smooth and easy job... I'm particularly excited that it has the ability to mig weld which is so much better than flux. Plus it does arc welding. It's super light, adaptable and portable.

I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE THE 110 220 MODLE WORKED GREAT ,BUT AFTER PUTING SPOOL OF WIRE IN 110 ONLY SET WELDER TO FLUX CORE WIRE PULLED TRIGGER NOTHING CHANGED TO MIG WITH GAS THE GAS VALE WORKED BUT NO WIRE FEED SO I AM RETURNING IT TOMORROW

So far, so good. I've only used the flux core, and it worked great. I'll need to work on settings, but that's on me. Was a little confused about the Tig function? It SOUNDS like it's capable, but unit doesn't come with, nor does it direct to which any particular Tig torch 'might' work??Asking other 145 buyers? Did your unit come with Tig torch?

This welding machine is very easy to set up—just follow the instructions and you’re good to go, no technical skills required. It’s also very convenient to use, with intuitive controls that make it easy to operate even for beginners. The welding performance is excellent, with stable output and smooth arc—no interruptions. Overall, I’m very satisfied with it. Great value for the price and definitely worth recommending to others!

Out of the box first impression is not very small, and doesn’t weld. I have tried to stick and mig weld and neither work. I guess I just lost money…I wouldn’t recommend any person to purchase based off my experience with it.

this is my first Welder machine, and would like to use it for my some DIY project at home, i pick this one because it support multiple welding modes, and feature with synergic function which automatically matches voltage and wire feed speed, save a lot of manual setting for first time user like me. 110v to run is another pro for home DIYer.overall, this machine with all accessaries included, it's powerful and portable, meet my expectation, for welding quality, i m still learning to use it, can not concluded yet.
