200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch Generator, Single Phase Transfer Switch with Power Management Replacement for Generac RXSW200A3, NEMA 3R Outdoor Rated Aluminum Enclosure for Indoor and Outdoor Use

I purchased this ATS to help switch my house load over to a stand-by generator. This ATS is great, well built and would have done the job of separating the generator power from feeding back to the municipal grid. Except, the local electric inspector would not allow an automatic switch unless the stand-by generator is at least 120% of the average home load. In my case, only a full house Generac would work. Oh well, devil is always in the details. Thank Amazon for understanding and allowing my full returns.

Completed Install 8/22/25, worked perfectly on startup. Used for an old generac 20kw with no ats. almost half price of generac ats. good instructions and yes the sticker on front cover doesn't stick to well. definitely recommend.

This transfer switch does not have the UL or ETL certification labels on it, nor does it come with any certification documentation (a code requirement). I requested documentation or the label from the manufacturer and they would not provide it. This means it will not pass electrical inspection and makes me wonder if it is safe to install. I have installed and repaired many generators and transfer switches from Onan, GE, Honeywell, to MTU. And all came with certification, you didn't have to ask for it. Cheaper is not better when life safety is involved. I have been a licensed electrician for more the 30 years, and I do not recommend this switch unless they provides the UL certification.

Bought this automatic transfer switch for second 200 amp panel. Concerned that solenoid wires were not connected . I hope this unit is not a returned one. Have not installed it yet. Will update after installation

You will need model and serial number to register with generac. Could not locate on panel. Item appears used. Had wear marks on the paint where it had been opened and closed and bent metal.

this box is kind of a necessity if you have a home generator or backup generator. otherwise you would have to plug everything in by hand every time the power went out. I shopped around a bit and compared prices of comparable models. This is one of the best bargains you will find out there today. Does not seem to lack any quality difference in materials or the way it is assembled. Putting it up outside the garage was a bit of hassle when it came to installation. I thought i could do it but ended up calling an electrician to make sure it was done correctly. Too important to cut corners in that area. once it was installed it ran great. We did several trip tests and eveything worked exactly as it should. much more confident about feeling safe should the power go out in an emergency situation. Or a little extra power when i want to do an outdoor movie night ot other such event.

I picked this up without reading all the specifics in the details. This unit isn't the exact one that I needed but I was able to get it mated to my system with a little help. I really feel a lot more confident with our home generator set up and I'm sure the electric company is happy knowing they aren't working on lines powered from some random generator :)
