SEIKO Automatic Watch for Men 5-7S Collection

This is a great time piece that costs a fraction of most other watches of this caliber. It's automatic (self winding) which means no batteries to buy and put into the waste stream. It's an attractive watch that works with casual or formal attire. After removing a couple of links using watchband adjusting tools, the band now fits perfectly and is comfortable One feature that Seiko should brag about is the almost sweep second hand. Each second takes four ticks, which makes for a much smoother rotation, not unlike that of a much more expensive watch. An actual sweep second hand found on very expensive watches is merely an illusion anyway, and just has more ticks per second than the average watch. What a bargain!

Its a great looking watch. Came in a nice box and packaging and on time. I wore this to a wedding a got a couple of compliments. People were surprised to hear how much i paid for it. my only note is that it was pretty tough to adjust the band length. Im not sure if mine had a slight defect but I had to use all my finger strength for long periods of time to get this watch adjusted. In the end it was worth it!

I have always been a fan of watching movies but never really got into them, as when I saw the prices, I immediately lost interest. After a few years, there was a wedding that was coming up that I was attending. I am a tech savvy person, I use an apple watch every single day and when this wedding came around, the spark for having a hobby for watches again reignited. It took me about 2 weeks to find the proper watch because I had to learn about the terminology of what a quartz watch is, what mechanical, automatic, etc. I stumbled upon this Seiko watch line-up and one peaked my interest, which was the Seiko SNXS77 and it is the one with a blue face and white dials and it took me a while to pull the trigger as 150 bucks is a lot of money and for a teenager who doesn't have that much money, this was scary. I ordered it and as it arrived in the mail, everything was perfect until I notice that there were scratches on the glass face but my time ran out and I had to take it with me to the wedding. But it didn't really matter plus no one was going to care. Starting the watch and winding it up felt self explanatory and I was able to get it running. Though I do recommend you to wear the watch for at least a couple of hours just so the movement doesn't die overnight. I set the time the day I got it and the next day it was dead. Just wear it for a few hours and byu the time you use it, you have 45 hours until you need to rewind it again by wearing it and moving around. Accruacy is not the best as you really have to time on when to set it as the seconds hand just keeps going and going and its not in sync with your phone. But I got used to it now and I just go by the hour and minutes.

Exelente relojito clásico, hay que adquirirlo antes que se ponga mas caro y luego que ya no se encuentre nuevo, dese prisa!

The watch is beautiful,but to small

It's a beautiful watch for everyday use. I love the concept of automatic watches, they have something magical, specifically now days with smart-watches full of notifications anytime, everywhere. It's refreshing enjoying something so gorgeous and simple, distraction out. For this one you would want to change the band, it's feels a bit cheap, the rest is perfect, with high precision.

Got this watch and must say that I'm impressed with the attention to detail and quality of the watch. Truly beautiful and acceptably precise. Usable from the start by removing some links in my case. Mine came with the days of the week both in english and spanish. Great purchase, would do it again. 10/10 quality/price.

Cette montre est beaucoup plus belle que sur la photo. Très facile de lire l'heure dans le noir. Le jour et la date sont très lisibles. Le jour peut-être réglé en anglais ou en espagnol. Montre de qualité. On en a pour son argent.

It's a real nice watch. Real worth the money. It has warranty card and all the details about the watch inside.

Vier Jahrzzehnte lang hat mir meine SEIKO 5 -Uhr exakt die Zeit angezeigt!! Jetzt hat sie leider den Geist aufgegeben. Dass es heute noch exakt das gleiche Modell zu kaufen gibt hat mich allerdings sehr überrascht! Diese Uhr gefällt mir heute noch und der Preis stimmt auch. Deshalb habe ich die SEIKO 5 SNXS77 wieder gekauft.

I was looking for a stainless steel strap watch with a timeless design, a very good value for money, reliable and durable. I decided to go for a Japanese brand (Seiko, Casio, Citizen…). I choose this Seiko because it offered a very good balance between brand history, clean classic design, price and mechanism. I’ve been using the watch everyday since I received it two week ago and I just love it. I have other watches from well known Swiss makers, which costs 50 times more than this one, but are harder to live with, because they are heavier, bigger and very showoff, and cannot be used every day, in any occasion or place. This Seiko is a good looking watch, timeless design, specially the clean dial. It goes very well either with sport, casual or formal occasions. It fits perfectly between my wrist and my shirts sleeve. It’s the first non digital watch I’ve got that shows the month and week day, the last one could be set to be in English or French, and has the detail of showing the work days in black, Saturday in blue and Sunday in red. I love automatic watches, so that feature is a plus for me, especially because the back case is made in mineral glass, showing the mechanism. I also love the position of the crown, witch is different from every watch I have and also a bit exotic. The price makes this watch a bargain. For what it offers, it has a very good value for money. I am thinking of buying another, to put a black leather bracelet. Before purchasing it, a read a lot of reviews and some people complained about its lack of accuracy. Well let’s not forget that this is an automatic watch, so it cannot be a reference in accuracy, especially in this price range. From my measurements, I can tell that my watch gains around 1 minute per week (I use a Casio with Multiband 6 to compare), witch is perfectly acceptable to me, mainly because all my other automatic watches stop after a couple of day without being used, and I have to set correct time regularly. But as long as I have an accurate reference time (the Casio) I am fine. Has a conclusion, I must say that I am very, very happy with this watch.
