DEWALT 190681 20V MAX 4 gal. Lithium-ion Cordless Backpack Sprayer Kit (2 Ah)

Reading reviews before I purchased this, I was a little concerned because people said it was heavy. I have used both Solo and Echo hand pump backpack sprayers over the years as a Private Applicator. Honestly, I can’t say it was much heavier than either of those. I started by putting it on the back of my golf cart and driving around. It is top heavy and would fall forward if I hit a bump. Next I tried walking with it and it was comfortable and worked well. I used a DeWalt 8AH battery. I sprayed a total of 21 gallons of herbicide (5 batches and a clean-up) and there were still 2 of the 3 green lights on indicating it had only used 1/3 of the battery. I’m impressed with it and think I made a great purchase.

This thing is AWESOME !!!!!! I can't tell you how much I love this sprayer. I have been spraying Permethrin around the house to kill off the bugs. This works great with little effort. When you fill it to 4 gallons it gets a bit heavy (think of it as a workout with a backpack :). It does have waist straps so that helps out a lot. With 4 gallons, I'm able to go around my whole house and spray to kill of the bugs. Works great. I would definitely buy it again in a heartbeat especially since many of my powertools are from DeWalt and use the same battery packs. Side note. When you get it, you might need to prime it. Getting a garden hose and blasting water into the vent (as suggested) worked REALLY well. After that, it works every time without priming it.

I have probably had a dozen or more sprayers. The DeWalt is my favorite. Does all the spraying I need on one small battery...which is easy to get to. It's pretty heavy for me to carry around but works very well from my golf cart.

This thing works great! I have a three-story house and I can hit the top roof peak with a little bit of stretching otherwise with all the attachments it pretty much, solves all of my needs for insect control and mildew control under the soffit. Can easily hit 25 feet, but can hit 30 feet with long arms.

I have used this sprayer several times for various applications for my yard. I have a good-sized yard that generally requires me to fill the sprayer completely 3 times to cover the entire yard. for one application. The battery lasts for multiple applications to my yard. I typically use the wide sprayer nozzle for the yard which works well. I have also tried the long-range nozzle and the adjustable brass nozzle. They really do spray a long distance. I bought this sprayer based on the recommendation from a neighbor, which I appreciate. Now a landscaper bought one based on my recommendation. I highly recommend this sprayer.
