I purchased this drone for my son as a Christmas gift, and it has been an absolute hit! The setup was quick and easy, and he was able to start flying it almost right away. The controls are very user friendly, making it perfect for beginners, but it still has enough features to keep it exciting as he improves. This drone is sturdy, flies smoothly, and the battery life is better than we expected. The camera quality is also impressive for the price and adds an extra level of fun. Watching my son learn, practice, and gain confidence flying it has been great to see. And overall, this was an excellent purchase and a fantastic gift. I've had my eye on a drone for a while, something fun to mess around with but not break the bank. After some research, I decided on this Oddire model, and I'm genuinely impressed with what you get for the money. First off, setup was a breeze. Seriously, it took me longer to unbox it than it did to get it connected. The "ODDIRE GO" app is straightforward, and pairing the drone to my phone's Wi-Fi was seamless. No fiddling with SD cards is a huge plus - everything saves directly to your phone, which is super convenient for quick sharing. Flying this thing is pretty intuitive. As a relative beginner, I really appreciate the one-key takeoff/landing and the stable hover thanks to the optical flow positioning. After a quick calibration (which is just placing it on flat ground and moving the joysticks), it really does just hold its altitude well. I tried out the 3-speeds mode, and while I'm mostly sticking to the slower settings for now, it's clear it can zip around when you want it to. The 3D flip is a fun party trick, though I'm still perfecting my timing on that one! The 1080P HD camera is better than I expected. It's not pro-grade, but for capturing casual shots and videos from a new perspective, it's more than sufficient. Being able to adjust the camera angle remotely up to 90 degrees is fantastic for getting just the right shot without having to land and reposition. I've already got some cool bird's-eye views of my backyard. Battery life is solid. With two batteries, I'm easily getting the advertised 25-28 minutes of flight time. That's enough to really get a feel for flying and experiment with different functions without constantly worrying about charging. The safety features like over-current protection and emergency stop are also reassuring, especially when you're still getting the hang of things. My only minor critique, and it's really minor, is that some of the "multiple functions" like trajectory flight and gravity control do take a bit of practice to get precise, but that's more about my skill level than the drone itself. Overall, if you're looking for a user-friendly, fun, and capable drone without spending a fortune, this Oddire model is a fantastic choice. This plug-and-play functionality makes it especially appealing for beginners or casual users who just want to get in the air quickly. Having flown a number of consumer drones over the years, I was particularly impressed by the advanced controller technology used in this model. The response time is sharp, the connection feels stable, and the controls are very user-friendly. I put the drone to the test under challenging weather conditions—specifically, a windy afternoon just after a heavy rainstorm. Despite the gusty wind, the drone handled itself remarkably well. For a drone of this compact size, its ability to withstand strong gusts and maintain balance mid-air was impressive. It didn’t get tossed around like some lightweight drones tend to in similar conditions. However, at one point, a particularly strong gust caught the drone and pushed it into some tree branches before it dropped over 20 feet to the ground. When I retrieved it, I noticed a minor crack on one of a landing leg. Fortunately, it was an easy fix with a little super glue. After that quick repair, the drone was back in action without any noticeable performance issues. Overall, although it’s a small and lightweight drone, it proved to be surprisingly durable, both against wind and impact. Its solid build and simplicity of use make it an excellent choice for beginners and younger users. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get into drone flying without a steep learning curve or the fear of easily damaging the aircraft.

This drone is a solid choice for beginners. It has strong durability, as I have personally run it aground on a tree or a metal pole, and it still functions and responds to the remote. There is a learning curve as the movement is not immediate and takes a second or two to change direction, height, or speed. It is compact and portable and can easily fit in a carrying case or a backpack.

This drone is perfect for a beginner like myself. I bought a drone about 12 years ago give or take. It had zero features except 360 flip. I could not fly it and crashed it more times I can count. I gave up on drones. Then I came across this in expensive drone with all kinds of features. Price was right and I decided to try again, cheap enough if I crash it, well I tried. The 1st time I flew this drone it made me feel like I can do this. I have had this for a week now, flying and learning it everyday and each time I get better and better. But for the price and beginners I would highly recommend for what it's worth. A lot of fun with the grandkids and it takes pictures and videos for them memories. Once I get good I will be up grading but this one does good for now while I am learning.
