Value for money: Battery works as it should, so definitely worth the money Battery life: The Rog Ally last 2 times longer than the original battery. Instructions were easy to follow as well. Weight: The weight does slightly increase, but it's a small price to pay for extended playtime. Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product is bigger and better than the original battery. And this product delivered quicker than any other product I saw. Highly recommended

Just installed. Charged to 100% and gave it a go. The battery started off strong reporting slow discharge while playing games. About a hour and a half in I brought up the battery and it showed 30% life left. I started another game and when I immediately loaded in my Ally shut down and wouldn't power back on. I plugged it into the charger which turned it back on. When I got to my home screen the battery read 27% I unplugged my charger and it almost immediately died. I plugged it back in and turned it on. That's when I received a preparing screen that would go away. It sat like that for a couple of minutes until I power cycled it. It came back on and that's when I took the video. I don't like how it's not giving an accurate reading on the battery level. I'm also worried if the battery will start dieing sooner like at 40 or 50% battery reading. So my actual review starts here. The quality of the battery feels good out of the box. It came with all the necessary tools to complete the project. The box had no instructions in it. The videos you pull up on YouTube will help you but you have to cut much much more plastic to fit this battery in than what you will see in the videos. Any and all tabs in the battery area must be cut in order for the back shell to close. Once you do tho the back shell goes back on nicely. If you don't the tabs push on the battery and you cannot close it up. I have no issue cutting away because I already want something else so I said yolo and made it work. Trying to squeeze a little more time with this handheld. Cutting away all the extra material may mean if you ever want to go back to a stock battery it may not be possible due to shaving away so much material. My final thoughts. If you neeeeeeed a new battery it may be worth it to upgrade to something like this. Not saying this sellers in particular but my stock battery was failing only getting about 30 minutes away from the wall. And I did squeeze out about an hour and a half out of this battery before it gave up on me. Personally after this, if you're having the same battery degradation on your stock battery. It may be worth it to replace it with an OEM and carry a back up battery bank for when you're on the road. I really don't trust this one but I will rock it until it completely gives out or it bloats. Time will tell. If anything crazy happens I will update this review.

This was easy to install in my Rog Ally after watching a youtube video of someone else installing it. The cutting to the inside back cover was minimal and easy with the provided side cutters. The original connecter from the battery was a little difficult to get off but once that was out this one was a breeze to install. After i installed it and made sure it turned on, i charged it with my OEM charger for around 40 minutes before the battery was at a full charge. I played a cozy steam game for about 4 hours last night on all the battery saver options (so not turbo, not the brightness all the way up, etc) and it took me from 100% down to 72%. I would say that's a huge huge improvement over the OEM battery which wouldn't even last 90 minutes new and was completely tanked and unchargable when i replaced it. My only complaint was the shipping took over a month for them to even send it out, which is some BS. When they did ship it, the item only took 4 days to arrive so i'm guessing the seller just isn't responsive. Overall i would recommend this product to anyone with a ROG but i wouldn't recommend it if you're in a time crunch. Next up i'll be upgrading my m.2 and my backplate with a clear one!
