Simpler Hair Color for Men - Full Gray Coverage Dye Kit, Ginger

I don't normally write reviews for the many products I buy on Amazon, unless the product (or book) is awful and I want to warn potential customers to stay away or if the product (or book!) is so good that I want to shout from the rooftops, "buy this product (or book) because it is terrific and will enhance your life." "Simpler" is one of the latter products. In brief: it is terrific. My wife of many years has been after me to color my hair so that my gray/white does not make me look old, given that my body/skin belies my age as she, my children and my friends claim that my appearance, bodywise, make me look much younger than my chronological age, while my gray/white hair make me look my age or many years older. I bought Simpler at the suggestion of a friend, because, he claimed, Simpler is "simple" to use, it works and contains no harmful chemicals. In short, my friend and my beloved were correct. I look, ahem, great and in everyone's opinion younger than my chronological age. Simpler was delivered practically overnight. The directions were easy to understand and the process couldn't be Simpler. I love the fact that all I need to take years off my age is the stuff in the Simpler box and my walk-in shower. It is easy to understand the instructions and to use the product. I highly recommend Simpler for men for everyone who wants to look and feel good about himself. It works, it makes me look even younger and more handsome (he said, modestly) than I am in actuality. Some reviews have claimed that Simpler is "pricey." Hey, I think the price is very reasonable - if not quite inexpensive. What is it worth to you for a simple product that takes years off your appearance which is good for you at your job and home-life, when your wife thinks you look the same (or better) than you did when you met or married and when you look in the mirror and see not a middle-aged (or old) fellow but a guy 20 years younger than you were the day before? What's that worth to you?

As a ginger with an abundance of white hairs in my beard these days, this product rocks. There are other beard & hair colors out there for men, but I couldn't find one that was close to being a genuine ginger. Other brands are usually too dark and too brown most of the time. There was one that came close once, but the color faded quickly. Simpler's "ginger" color is the perfect match for me, I'm happy to say. I use it on my hair and my beard as needed. It's pretty gentle compared to a lot of dyes out there, and doesn't stink of ammonia or whatever it is that makes other products stink. Plus, you can get multiple uses out of each can of dye. My beard grows fast, so it's cool that I can just do a touch up here and there. I'll be buying this regularly.

For ginger hair people: So, I have more grey than red/ginger now. Other brands leaves the hair with a very unfortunate purple result. This one does not. Goes on super red - left me worried initially - waited 10 minutes for beard, and after washing it out, I was impressed. Ginger color with NO purple. Since I just need it for a beard, may switch to using cheap toothbrush instead of the included comb. Works great, just overkill for my needs. Definitely happy with the product.

Wouldn't buy. Waste of money. Pump doesn't evenly disperse color with toner. Had to do 4 appl. To get desired effect. Is actually messier than ones you mix. And having to leave for 30 minutes. Better companies out there

I have been using this product for over 3 years now and it has erased years off of my appearance. It turned my totally grey beard back into my natural red beard, that has been part of my identity my entire adult life. This is the only product I have found for Gingers. Agism is a real thing and I immediately notice a positive change in our other perceived and treated me. It is easy to apply and I have experienced no skin irritation or other side effects while using Simpler. Some of my friends starting using it after seeing the results I received. It is a great product and I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this product to all, ladies and gentlemen, who is looking for making their hair color look more natural in a very simple way. This product is very easy to apply and made from natural ingredients. The most impressive fact is a bottle can be used multiple times if you have short hair. This product completely changed the way I dye my hair. I will continue to use this product in the future.

Great product! It's the only one I've used that looks natural with my red beard. Other products go far too dark. Easy to apply and blend with your grays if you want to keep a few of those as well. Doesn't stain your skin. Love it!

I use for red hair, and it is actually one that dyes a proper, genuine, mid range red. That is not so easy to find in a non-permanent, pain in the neck dye. I use it for hair and beard. it does have some ingredients that have a slight chemical smell when applied, which is necessary, no doubt for a semi permanent effect, but I googled and saw that dying your hair does not actually damage the follicles. With this product it also doesn’t damage my hair in anyway. I wash my hair every day and this color seems to fade a little too soon, but it is worth it, and I reapply it when I feel like it; there were a good number of uses in the bottle if you have normal length hair as a man. Just be sure you press the button on top very evenly and hold the can vertically otherwise he might not get the right mixture of dye and developer. The company has been really terrific as customer service. I also sometimes use Just For Men red brown. What is red brown? Or AUBURN of course which means it isn’t red. But it only takes five minutes and doesn’t seem to have any troublesome chemicals, and lasts a good long time. Too bad they don’t make a genuine red and this red brown version from Just For Men only available online. But the price is good so make a choice or try both.
