PS5 Charging Dock, Minimalist Style, USB Type C, 1 Count

I bought this because I have little cousins that visit and they love games. I have 2 controllers and by the time their visit is over, at least 1, if not both controllers are near dead. Since the PS5 only has one charging port for the controller, it would take forever to charge both controllers separately(each controller for 3 to 4 hours a piece). I was looking for something where I can charge both controllers at once, and wasn’t overly expensive like the PlayStation brand is, and gives me options as far as cord length( USB-C) cord with a wall adapter. I bought this for $15 and it works great. I also like that it has colors to show charging(red) and blue(fully charged). Note: it also shows blue when no controller is charging. NOTE: There are two blue controller diagrams located at the front of the dock (controller 1 and 2). The first controller diagram (at top) corresponds to the first controller slot. The 2nd controller diagram is just below the first controller diagram. Each controller diagram will show red(charging) and blue ( charge complete/ no controller charging). The charging slots are also noted as 1 and 2 on the dock as well, so that you will know which controller is in which spot. It’s has two spaces and at least fits the Dualsense PS5 controller( I don’t know about the Dualedge as I don’t have one). It took a little time to figure out how the controllers go in but, once I figured it out it’s not too hard (you will hear clicking sound once the controller is in correctly). Plus, the controller and dock itself will light up once the controllers are put in correctly. I also like how the dock has LED lights(multi colored) with multiple color modes. Although, I wish the dock had an on/off switch so that I could turn the power off and wouldn’t have to keep unplugging the dock when not in use. It says that it has overcharge protection but, I wouldn’t recommend leaving it charging over night or, for an extended amount of time. I say this because I have read from the reviews of the PlayStation brand charging dock that it has damaged the battery from overcharging(even though the PlayStation brand states it has overcharge protection as well). It seems very stable too, for example; once you place the controller/s in the dock they seem to stay in place and don’t wobble and/or tip over. I even wiggled the dock slightly to check for the stability. The dock is also very compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. As far as charging time, the dock charged my controller for 2hrs and 38 minutes( a little over 2 and a half hours(directions state anywhere for 2-2.5 hours for full charge). So, overall it does what I needed it to do, has pretty cool colors (LED) lights, compact and, it isn’t overly priced. Money well spent and I would definitely recommend!!!

I loved this charger for the PS5 controller. It is compact, modern and the LED light gives it a very nice touch when in use. The control fits perfectly and starts charging immediately, without the need to be connecting cables. In addition, the indicator light helps to know if the control is charging or if it is already complete, which is super practical. The charge is fast and the charger looks good quality. It keeps my control always ready and organized, without taking up much space. Totally recommended for any PS5 user who wants something functional and elegant!

Works good and looks great. It’s easy to setup and comes with everything you need. I got it for a great price so overall worth buying. My only small negative thing I have to say is the charger cord they give is slightly short, but it’s just enough for what I need.

I've had this for a while now and gotta say, it's still holding strong and the best investment ever for any who use PS5 controllers. Sure, you can buy similar chargers in stores but they'll cost way more and I haven't seen one that lights up. I think it charges the controllers pretty fast, even both at the same time, but I haven't noticed the battery draining any faster. It keeps them out of the way and neatly set aside. The controllers themselves can get in the way of the slim profile but otherwise it's still small but functional. I like the red lighting to indicate the controller is charging and blue to show it's full. Because I can forget where I set items, I always have one controller on the dock (mostly a backup) and as far as I can tell it hasn't negatively impacted the battery life and overall use. And being able to just use any USB-C cable and dock makes things a lot easier given how most devices use those. It's easy to set up, use, place wherever, and the icons are easy to see and know what's what. I personally LOVE the color options, the flowing from one to the next my favorite, cause it looks nice when my rooms dark but I can just as easily turn them off. I guess the only problems are you don't really know which icon is for what controller and the percentage it's at through the charger itself. I personally don't mind either of those but that's for those who may. Otherwise I think it's worth the money and an efficient way to charge your controllers with a little nice color to spice things up.
