PN BE9003, 12V (DC) or 24V (DC), Current - Suitable up to 20 amps, Standby Current - 0.008 amp. This switch automatically activates the bilge pump when 2 inches of water is sensed, and it turns the pump off when the water level drops below ½ inch. Two color-coded wires make installation easy, and there are two test circles that can be used to ensure activation. This unit offers side or base mounting to suit the available space configuration. This switch can operate with 12V or 24V power, and it is suitable for up to 20 amps. Review: So far more reliable than micro switch - I am happy with this purchase. So far, the contactless switch has been more reliable than big brand bilge switches that depend on a micro switch lever for turning on and off my bilge pump. My problem with micro switched float levers is they don’t always turn off after the water levels drop. The Whale senses when water is present at the level of where you place the Whale. It works, no moving pieces to worry about. You still need to keep the bilge clean but no longer have to worry about a switch stuck in the on position, draining my battery.

I am happy with this purchase. So far, the contactless switch has been more reliable than big brand bilge switches that depend on a micro switch lever for turning on and off my bilge pump. My problem with micro switched float levers is they don’t always turn off after the water levels drop. The Whale senses when water is present at the level of where you place the Whale. It works, no moving pieces to worry about. You still need to keep the bilge clean but no longer have to worry about a switch stuck in the on position, draining my battery.

### ⭐ Switch not reliable

I bought this switch for my boat's bilge pump. The on and off levels are both closer and lower than a regular floating switch, but it is OK. The switch lasted few months only and now it will start the pump but never stop it unless I turn bilge pump off manualy. My other pump is using a cheaper floating switch (orange brand one) and is working for a year without problem. I won't buy it again
